Great wood screws! The hex-head enables more more torque to be applied to the shank. This in turn provides the ability to use without pre-drilling. 2 1/2" screws start and pull themselves through hard woods.

These screws hold great and drive better than any Phillips head. the included drive bit fits the head so well that it's impossible to strip and most times it is unnecessary to use a magnet to hold the screw on the bit. My go to construction screw now.

Good Screw but a bit pricey!!

Not recommended
Threads do not protrude far enough from shank, resulting in a higher number of stripped screws. I was using this product to penetrate a 3/4 piece of pine and into Douglas fir. I was only running the screw head flush and not burrowing into the wood. In order to compensate for the poor threading, I bore down with the impact driver to help it along. Do yourself a favor and try another brand.

my new go to for most of my applications. the...
my new go to for most of my applications. the big head stays on top of the board and does not pull through like other wood screws. I used it recently for building a scaffold. awesome!
And, Torx heads are the way to go, no question!!! best ever!
