I love it, it works very well, plenty of room for a family of 4, and it cleans better than my full sized.Very happy!!
I put this on the counter beside the sink, I had to cut a little off the cabinet doors and shorten a shelf by a few inches. All in all the installation was very easy and the finished product looks great.

size is fair trade off
The dishwasher is large enough to handle my serving bowls & pans along with everything else when cooking for 2, IF I am careful how I load it. It took me a while to learn the best way for my particular needs. Everyone is different. You can overload it (placing some lightweight plastics or things OVER the top of dishes & still get them clean. My Cornell plates load well as well as my 6+" glasses. The racks are very well placed for the best results. To eliminate the dish powder(Cascade) from getting wet & sticky, I wipe out the holders with a napkin before loading. I do ALL of my dishes on the glasses with the prewash cycle. (next to the last button). 45 minutes DONE! I clean dishes with a brush first just as I did with the regular dishwasher. It has even taken off tea stains from glasses! To be big enough to handle as many dishes as it does, it has to big on the outside as well, so it takes up a lot of counterspace..the TRADEOFF is OK with me. Sooo glad I bought it! oh, yes.. had a dent in the top/side.. no leakage anywhere. Hoses fit tight & easily put on with arthritic fingers. Very quiet & love the buzzer telling me it is done.

    Great dishwasher!
Living in a n apartment we don't really have a whole lot of room for a dishwasher. When I saw this product I figured it wouldn't hurt to try it out! I bought it and loved it! Now we're buying another as a gift!

Great Find! I think I got the last one online!
First of all, this dishwasher is big for a countertop. This won't fit on my countertop. I had a Danby years ago and it was definitely smaller. For the SPT, I had to use the box in came in as a stand to make due until I can get a utility cart. By the way, you have to order the utility cart online because HD doesn't carry them in the stores. Anyway, back to the dishwasher. I'm truly pleased with the fact that I can use an all in one detergent with rinse aid like say, Cascade Complete or Cascade Platinum. My advice for success using this, take a few seconds to scrap off food completely before you add to the dishwasher. Be realistic. Remove any clumps of food because if you don't, it will get gunked up inside the dishwasher. I love that it has Heavy, Normal, Light, Glass, Speed and Soak settings. This gem cleans well and the dishes looked great when I took them out. I also like that the hoses screw on to the back of it. I have arthritis, so this machine is a necessary luxury. Love! :)

      Worth every penny
Easy to install, easy to use. I thought you had to screw the hose onto the faucet for each use, but there is actually a spring loaded release, so it just pops on and off effortlessly. We put it in the spot our dish drying rack used to be on the counter, so it doesn't really take up additional space. Do it. Buy it. For real. No regrets.

      Was great for bit
I have previously rated this a few weeks after purchase it was perfect other then it not fitting on my counter because I have an older house so not the 18 in of clearance needed. But I was able to work around that. But several months to a year later I have problems turning it on and off. No matter how many times I push the button if it does not feel like turning on/off its not going to. One time it decided to turn on and off a million times when no one was around it just beeping away. I had to unplug it for a day in order for it to stop. About 2 months in the seal around the opening popped out which I simply popped it back in but had 2 extra inches I guess it stretched in the heat or I'd. It takes 2 hours to wash your dishes and in the time your sink is being used and water. The only setting that will leave my dishes clean is the pots and pans one which I had expected. Honestly I still like it because I loath washing dishes all day and you have to take in consideration of 3 meals a day. I use it for just two people and run it at least once a day. Had I not had problems with the power button I would not be complaining but I paid about 300 dollars at the time and believe it should work properly

        Worth it.
Perfect for my needs. There are two of us and it holds just about how many dishes we make a day. Set up and install were easy enough. Nice and quiet and the dishes come out clean.

          Pay attention to drying capability
would have been nice if I had known from the description that this unit DOES NOT blow dry the dishes. Works fine, but it's like buying a car without heat, would have bought a unit with drying option if everything was clear

          Good little dishwasher
I feel that the some features should be better explained in the owners manual. We have used it several times since we got it and still do not know for sure when it is finished or how long the cycle takes. It seems to take much longer than described in the manual I do like that the hoses are long enough so as not to have to struggle with getting it close enough to the sink to hook it up. Wish there was a way to keep the water from running back out of the hose\sink connection after we disconnect. Even after letting it set for a while we still have to mop up water off the floor when we lay the hose on the counter.

This has been the best investment I have ever made!
It took me almost 2 years before I finally bought one because I thought how good could one of these things really be? It looked to small inside to fit very many things at once inside. I finally bought one for my boyfriend and my apt because I was so tired of hand washing dishes ALL the time. This has been the best investment I have ever made! It works beautifully and so easy to set up and operate. The have a a connection to fit any type of faucet. You can turn you hot water on but that will just a a waste as the unit will heat the water just fine on its own. I love that it is an energy star and has barely raised my electric bill. I have put pots pans, large serving platters, and mixing bowls in it and all have come out sparkling clean. So far I have not put in "caked on food" items in to be washed so I don't know how it will handle those but then I don't know any regular sized dishwasher that could handle those either, but medium soiled, greasy, and oil is no problem. Some of the wire shelving inside is removable to fit those larger item's like frying pans. After the wash cycle completes I recommend opening the lid and letting in some air to help dry, as well as leaving the lid cracked open for an hour or so after washing to dry out the inside to prevent any mold or mildew. When the unit is on it will occasionally release excessive water out of the hose, during the first cycle it's cold but after that it's HOT so watch your fingers and anything still sitting in the sink. The listed temp depending on the wash cycle you pick is between 122-149 again I turn my faucet on cold and it still gets to the proper temp. I def recommend this to anyone that is tired of hand washing and has a landlord that wont put in a dishwasher!!!

This fulfilled all my expectations and then some. It came packaged to prevent any damage.
Easy to assemble. And the first and subsequent loads came out sparkling! It is quiet and no vibrations at all.

          Worth It
Works as well as an under-the-counter dishwasher. Not as big, though (about half of a normal load). Gets the job done when you can't install an under-the-counter (rental house, apartment, space restrictions, etc.).

Dishwasher fail. Does not wash dishes.
We are returning this dish"washer". It consistently failed to wash dishes with normal residue that had already been rinsed in the sink. We do not have hard water and tried all settings following the directions, all dishes exposed to the water spray. The machine was rather heavy and took up more counter space than anticipated, largely due to the cumbersome faucet attachment hose; a retractable or coiling hose would have been preferable. It was not easy to fit more than a few dishes within it to make it worthwhile, and it is quicker to do the dishes by hand rather than to put our only downstairs - and 1 of 2 - sinks out of use for a length of time. Also the faucet connection came loose and popped off once in the 3 weeks we've had it, and the machine kept going, gladly while I was nearby and not asleep or out of the house. Counter-top is not a bad idea, but this model has made me critical of the niche machines.

          Not too shabby, but.....
I read and heard all great things about this product, however; living in an older home, I'm not sure I get enough water pressure to allow it to do a thorough job. The time it takes to wash as well as the amount of countertop space it took up was not worth the purchase to me. Back to hand washing dishes. It is a beautiful little dishwasher and I wish it had worked out.

          Luv this little thing!
This shipped fast, was easy to set up and gets my dishes really clean. I have used this for a couple of months now and I am very happy with this purchase. It is pretty quiet except when it drains, which it only does a couple of times during a cycle

          Sufficient but could be better
You literally have to clean the dishes before putting them in, rinsing them is not enough. It is very helpful to ensure they are clean but does not actually clean. No "adult sized" plates will ever fit. I have to rewash them to get the water stains off afterward because I dont expect a guest or my child to eat or drink off anything with marks all over them.
