What a great light. The first night I had it, I went outside to see the brightness and different functions. I was impressed. For a small flashlight, it was bright. It also has six different patterns. From spot to flood to SOS to strobe, they all were very bright. I am using this light in my truck for emergencies so I like the different choices. If I was using it at home, having to go thru all the choices would take some getting used to. I would like the light to stay were I left it and not have to find it again but that's just me. For use on a boat, car, truck or home emergency...it is great. The light is small, made of aluminum, comes with a rechargeable battery and charger, and can be used with different batteries (comes with adapter). Home Depot and Striker make a good team. You will love this light.

Pros Durable, Good Size & Weight, Long-Lasting, Sturdy, six choices of light pattern

The light itself is a typical rugged metal bodied LED taclight, but with the added feature of being able to use a rechargeable battery [supplied] or normal batteries. Not sure how much use the secondary LED "flood" is compared to a focused taclight, as it is not as bright as the main beam. Still, good, generic taclight, small, handy, etc. The charger is a somewhat different story. The hole where the usb cable plugs in was so poorly aligned with the internal connector that I was not able to insert the USB until I took a Dremel bit and widened the opening. This could be a problem for someone without small tools, as the connector could be damaged trying to stuff the cable in. Once that was resolved, the charger itself works just fine, and if included [roughly 6 inch] cable is too short, any USB cable with the correct non-reversible micro USB connector will do.

Pros Durable, Good Size & Weight, Sturdy Cons poor quality on charger

This is the best designed flashlight I have ever owned. It's tough, It's made from aircraft grade aluminum. I use it when walking at night. Store one in your vehicle for emergencies. It is great on camping trips and walking on a path after dark. You can see very far, it has a dual led combination that has flood and spotlight options. With the zoom lens you can change between flood or spot, that way you can see far and light your feet at the same time. It has an "AAA" battery cartridge for times when you can't recharge the lithium ion battery. With this feature you will always have a working flashlight.

Pros Durable, Good Size & Weight, Strong, Sturdy

If you are looking for a powerful flashlight that's small and compact this fits the bill. Upon opening the box I was totally confused but after reading the box it was easy to figure out the accessories that were included. The battery charger for the main battery is a real plus as well as the cradle that holds 3 AAA batteries that can be used while the main battery is being charged. The spot light feature is impressive and great for hiking and wooded areas. The wide angle flood light is perfect for close range area lighting.
