It does not slip but it moves across the floor gradually instead of staying in place. I have it under a rug between the stove and the sink and every day I need to move it back into place - the whole thing moves. It is comfortable to stand on after you get used to the height it adds to the rug.

I must not have read the description well. This pad was not as thick as I had hoped.

It's a good pad- just seemed a bit expensive

It is definitely good in the non-slip department. Only one major con: It sheds like crazy. Wish I knew if it was going to eventually shed out. Same problem with the Safavieh area rug I purchased with it. One vacuuming and the canister needs to be emptied.

Hard to get kinks out of pad due to folding creases.

Just what we needed

Easy Delivery. Excellent product

The length of the pad is 9 feet 9.5 inches. Although the product description says to be prepared for some variability in size, I do not believe a shortfall of 2.5 inches is a reasonable amount of variation for something that is supposed to be 10 feet long. (The width is full measure: 8 feet and one-half inch to be exact.)

Made my new rug feel very plush and luxurious. Love it!

Not sure if this really needs a review. It's padding. I purchased this for a rug on my hardwood floor based on the high-quality brand and the thickness. Hopefully this helps someone....

It is OK. Difficult to cut to the size of the 11 x 15 rug.

Nice feel, quiet.

I got this pad to replace other "non-skid" stuff I had underneath a few small area rugs in my home. Before, they were always moving around, even without a ton of traffic. This was very easy to cut to size, and is holding the mats nicely in place. The price is quite a bit more than I've spent on previous rug pads, but since it works so much better and is unlikely to need replaced, I'm thinking it's a worthwhile expense. Mine came rolled up and it was very easy to "flatten out," by simply rolling it in the opposite direction for a few minutes.

I feel like I'm missing something after reading other reviews. This is a great rug pad, in terms of non-slip. The bottom is rubber, and is not going anywhere, and despite the fact that the top feels just like the underside of carpeting, my area rug really sticks it nicely, and even at the corners, it's not budging. That being said, it's hard as a rock. It looks like carpet padding, albeit more rigid, so I was hoping for a plush feeling. In terms of softness, it feel no different than it did on the hard wood. In fact, the cheap rubber rug pad I have elsewhere offers more softness. This would be fine under your dining room table, but I wanted to use it in my toddlers room, and it's nice and thick, and keeps the rug in place, but I don't want to sit and play on it. It shipped to me rolled up like a rug, so I'm hoping that somehow it was compressed, and it needs to refluff but it's flattened out, and still very firm.

Good carpet pad for the price. I would recommend that anyone purchasing take it out of package well in advance of needing to use it. The efficient packaging makes it challenging to get out the wrinkles. Several weeks later we still have a few.

We purchased this pad in conjunction with an area rug from Home Depot. Very heavy duty and a must for rugs with non-skid backing. This thick pad helps make the area rug even more soft on which to walk. Shipping and delivery took only a few days. Folds from shipping came out in just a few days.
