Easy to assemble...beautiful, especially after I applied Minwax Teak Oil...really accentuated the rich wood tones.

This Bench is absolutely beautiful and very sturdy. However, when I touched the back of the bench I got a splinter.

Perfect size for my porch

After a year and a half, the wood is splitting and paint is coming off. For the price, you hoped it would be more solid. Disappointed with quality. But the design is beautiful.

Love it, the size is perfect and the color.

Excellent value for money. Looks great. The bench is well made and apportioned (fits two people well with space to turn and face one another without being on top of each of other). Assembly was straightforward, took about 30 min at a leisurely pace with just one person. Feels comfortable and very happy with purchase. Note that this bench is being used under a porch roof so it's not exposed as much to the elements (rain, wet ground, etc.), but it does get lots of late afternoon sun. I think if you're going to leave this outside without any cover, would probably smart to go with a teak version instead. But if you're looking for the dark look (it's almost black; close enough to match our black house trim) and a good deal, this is it.

Giving this review 4 stars simply because it was somewhat difficult assembling. Holes did not line up! But the overall product I love! The color, the look and the size is perfect! I recommend purchasing!

This bench looks nice on our pool deck. The color is great. The only reason I did not give it 4 stars is because I’m wondering how it’s going to hold up being outside. The instructions said to cover it,but that’s not really reasonable. So we shall see.

Nice bench

This was a gift, for Mother's Day, we got for our daughter/Mommy/wife, for her beautiful garden. We met the delivery person with a flatbed cart, so it could easily unloaded from the delivery truck. Assembly was fairly easy, though we did have to drill one hole, as it didn't line up properly. The bench is beautiful...and to keep it that way, she applied a protective coating of oil...not sure of the brand...to the entire piece, and will do so every six months, or as needed. I love that it has a metal plate attached to it, that can be engraved! She, and I, both, love this style for garden benches, and we found similar benches on other websites, but, she chose this one. A great choice! It met our expectations, however, if you plan on buying this bench, I highly recommend you protect it, immediately, with the appropriate oil, as this will not last half as long, if outside. We're planning on buying, or making, a cushion, but it is comfortable without one.

Very nice quality easy assembly

Cheap hardware and misaligned holes made assembly a project. I had to re-drill 4 holes in order to get the hardware to line up.

one of benches had a minor crack located in the back upper frame. My husband glued it and now the bench is fine. They are very pretty. We are happy with them.

I am a petite woman and I had no problems putting it together with the tools you providedLove it!

The quality of the wood is very poor. Paint is a chalky grey and did not adhere well to patchy rough areas. Silver bolt/ screw heads are exposed with no decorative caps to cover them up so I painted them. Not worth sending back after set up.

The bench looks more expensive than it cost. Assembly was not too difficult. I did have to redo the arms-I attached them backwards. All materials were included but one screw with nut bolt was stripped. I added heavy duty glue- just in case it didn’t hold. I have been looking for this style of bench and I very pleased - it’s beautiful!
