Very strong smell when package opened, had to open windows....
Very strong smell when package opened, had to open windows. Only word to describe it is cheap. Is holding rug in place.

Hi there! We recommend airing out a new rug for a few days. Leave your new rug in a well-ventilated space with your doors and windows open and frequently vacuum over the first few days. For a quicker fix, open your windows and place a fan where it can blow across your new rug. In a small space, consider a portable air filter to help with new rug odor removal. We had to trim this down a bit for our runner, but it works SO much better than the non-slip pad we previously had. Our rug finally stays in place, even when our dog goes zooming across it.

I wishj would have made this purchase years ago! Covers my entire seating area in living room. Our 3 month old loves it! My wife and I literally nap on this rug during the day instead of our recling couches while the baby naps in our King bed! It is so soft! We purchased the safaveiah rug pad to go under it as well. We gave two pit bulls but we blocked off the area so that we don't have to worry about dog hair when the baby starts crawling. Don't hesitate on this rug! U will love it!
