A little spendy compared to common variety of ice melt, but worth the cost compared to damage to concrete, deck, and "Muffin's" paws. My first use of this product. So far, so good, but we will have a better evaluation of season-long use.

I have not had to use it yet as no ice in Texas. Therefore, I cannot judge it but will keep it handy should I ever need it and like the fact it is pet, grass & concrete safe At least that is what is advertized. Thanks. Brookie is my real name not a nickname. It is my middle name.

Did Not Work Well For Me
In spite of the negative reviews I had read, I bought the Safe Paw Ice Melter anyway because (a) there were also positive reviews and (b) it is safer for animals than the other ice melts. Unfortunately, while it does melt a slight bit, it does not compare with the other pet "safe" melts and did little other than to make my snow a green color. I've gone back to magnesium chloride melts and, while they're not as safe as this urea product, they do melt ice and keep it away. In addition to being safe, a product has to work; I just did not feel that Safe Paw worked well enough to justify using it. I still have a full bottle and the majority of the first bottle left. I'm trying to think who I can "pawn them off on" in hopes that it works for them because, otherwise, I will throw them out. I'm disappointed and cannot recommend this product.

I ordered this product in store and picked it up...
I ordered this product in store and picked it up 3 days later. We have been pleased with how it has worked on our sidewalk, driveway, and back patio. Our dog has had no issues walking on it!

Used this product on icy walkway and driveway . Works well but only for a short duration. It doesn't take much effort to easily consume an entire container which can be costly. Purchased this product because of its low impact on concrete.

We have two small pugs. Crossing the brick patio to get to the grass is treacherous for a small dog when it's covered with ice. This product worked great. We sprinkled and created a path for them to walk on. No problem whatsoever! We plan to order more so we never run out.

Great product. We have used it for years. As a fertilizer based product as opposed to a salt/sodium based product it treats the concrete, bricks and surrounding areas with much less damage.
