I tried the Safer Brand 32 oz Ready-to-use Garden Fungicide for my apple trees & fig tree. It seemed to work better on the apple trees stopping the spotting and preventing the new leaves from having the growth on them. The infected leaves stayed on the tree. On the fig tree the infested leaves fell off but the new growth was fine. Know that It must be reapplied both top & bottom of the leaves each time it rains, so depending on how big your plant is plan on buying a few bottles for over the summer.

It's Working!
This product seems to be working and I am so happy! I have used it on my rose bushes, which have black mold, for 2 consecutive weeks and once after a rainstorm. As you can see by the pictures, the new growth, shows no black mold! You are supposed to remove the moldy leaves so as not to spread the disease, but I wanted to show the progress of the plant after using this Fungicide. I have removed them now that I have taken the pictures. I hope that it continues to do the job this well and that my rose bushes recover completely. It is a bit smelly, but only for a minute. I would highly recommend this product. Just follow the simple directions.

Solved mold problem, but I have safety concerns
I've been trying to use natural products in my garden. After having some failures with Neem last year, switched to this Sulfur treatment. It worked like a charm and the mold growth stopped. But, I see BIG chemical reactions occurring sometimes when used (interaction with fertilizers or something in soil?) and when I saw the extensive write-up on the PPE requirements during application I became nervous of the product. I'm not sure I want to eat my veggies after I sprayed with this; a bit scared.

      Spray doesn’t work
Maybe the product is good but I wouldn’t know because the bottle stops spraying after about 4 sprays every time I try to use it. Bottle can’t be opened or I could try pouring it on. Waste of time and money, very disappointed. Will be contacting the manufacture to ask for a refund.

One-third of the way through the bottle the sprayer stopped working. I transferred the liquid to another sprayer. That worked for a little while and then that also stopped. Not sure if this product works or not as I can't get it out of the bottle.

It did NOT work to reduce or remove mildew or mold - not from the plants nor from the terra cotta pots. WORST OF ALL, it smelled like 100 rotten eggs. I’m absolutley never using this again.

I have used this product for years to help control the fungus gnats in potted houseplants. For best results use 2 applications 3 days apart to kill off the newly hatched gnats. It can be used indoors or out. I spray it directly on the surface of the soil.

I used Safer Garden Fungicide on my roses that seem to be quite susceptible to black spots and rust. The fact that this product is considered “organic” and can be used within 24 hours before harvest appeals to me as I prefer to use as few chemicals in my yard as possible. The directions for use were clear and easy to follow. The sprayer worked well. I sprayed my plants well over a week ago and I do not see any further progression of disease. I would recommend this product.

It seems to work! I really like the range of products that Safer Brand offers, each spray targeting a specific disease of pest. It is actually much better for the environment to use the appropriate treatment rather than spraying an undiscriminating "kill-them-all" product. Here we have a sulfur based fungicide, designed for flowers and a few specific veggies (peas and beans.) It is very much welcomed, not only because it is almost impossible to prevent fungi - which sometimes live in the soil - and because this product is eco-friendly. I experimented this spray on my beans and, so far, they seem to have reacted positively to the treatment. I had also eliminated the contaminated pods to best help my sprouts. So far, no more white mold.I am pleased with this product and I am happy to recommend it.

We had an issue with some new plants we put in. They are constantly in shade and we over watered them too much. They developed mold. Donde got this spray and applied it according to the directions. This seemed to have done the trick. The mold cleared up pretty quickly and the plants are now thriving. If only we could find a way to prevent the deer from eating all our blooms, we'd be all set.

Seems to work well but is smelly
This product is promoted as an organic fungicide which uses sulfur as the active ingredient. The product does seem to work - the plants that we have used it on do appear healthier after spraying. Since sulfur is the active ingredient, it is smelly and the smell does last a while. Be sure to be upwind from your plants when spraying and do NOT use indoors. Be sure to follow label instructions and shake well before using. It is reasonably priced at $10.29 for 32 ounces.

          Does the job!
I garden in a damp coastal climate. Fungus and mildew can be a real problem. Since I’ve started using the Safer Brand fungicide, I haven’t had to tear out my impatiens halfway through the summer because of mildew. The price of one bottle more than compensates for not having to buy replacement flats of impatiens. I have also had good results with this spray on my hydrangeas and euphorbias that are in shady spots where they are subject to mildew. Once you’re sure the spray works, Safer makes a concentrated version that will save you some money.

          Got rid of the fungus
I got this product because my tomatoes had blight and the leaves were turning colors and falling off. The blight was even spreading to my basil. I can say that it did stop the blight, however my tomato plants still died. I am not sure if it was because I waited to long to treat the blight or the weeks of constant rain we had. It is safe for use around pets and kids.

          It worked.
I had 2 plants in desperate need of this product for powdery mildew. I applied it according to instructions. It halted the spread and the plants are continuing to grow, looking very healthy. I wish I would have thought about looking for a fungicide in the past.

No luck, still stuck with black spot!
This product did not work with my roses. The roses were sprayed carefully and often to no avail. It proved to be a complete waste of my time and money.

          Garden Fungicide
Exactly what I needed to treat the fungus infection on my plum fruit tree. The instruction were explicit and the spray made it easy to apply.

          Rescued my Roses
Safer Garden Fungicide is formulated to control and eliminate rust, powdery mildew, and black spot that can infect plants, especially roses and other ornamentals. It is also approved for organic gardening, which is a big plus for me. You simply shake the container and pump the mixture over your plants, thoroughly covering both sides of the leaves you are treating. My roses have suffered from problems in the past, but Safer Garden Fungicide has helped the new growth remain healthy and unaffected. Because the spray contains sulfer, the mixture is STINKY, but the smell dissipates quickly. I am very pleased with the results.
