So far so good. Super easy install with clear instructions. Our niece is over 3ft tall and is only 2. She's very smart. She figured out how to open door but with the Outsmart she has a hard time actually opening it although she already figured out the mechanics of the contraption. It's a great option to having a chain. I feel a chain she can easily undo once she gets a chair to it. I see this being good for older ones with dementia too!

Worked perfectly to keep my one year old from opening the bathroom door, but still lets my 3 year old get in if nature calls. I am curious how I will get it off the door when he gets old enough. WARNING: Don't enable this lock if you are going IN the bathroom, on my handle it won't let you out.

This lock was very simple to install and was able to keep my very smart 2 year old from opening doors. However, now that he's 4 and we no longer need it, it is impossible to remove. There are no videos or instructions anywhere about how to remove it. Luckily I only put them on 2 doors in the house and not all of them.

We installed this on my son's closet door because it opened into the closet & not outward into the room. Door needs to be completely shut in order to work. You need both hands to open the lock. With our lever handles, the lock needs to be fully disengaged. I think it would work really well on slimmer handles.

This product is fantastic for keeping our sneaky 3yr old from secretly escaping into the backyard. Our front door is sticky and heavy, plus it has a deadbolt but our backdoor can be easily opened by our little backyard runaway. This lock took 2 seconds to install and she has not figured out how to open it. The fake button on the bottom is so smart, our toddler constantly presses it!

The installation directions are very easy to follow. We have now installed them on 4 doors because we have an 8 month old kitten who has learned to open doors with this type of handle.

We got these for our hallway and bathroom doors. We have 2 cats that have learned how to open them.

Works great so far. Have them on all exit doors to keep the babies and toddlers from wandering outside without permission.

Works great! Easy to use and better than locking the doors. The only thing I don’t like, which a lot of product has, is peeling the sticker. It’s too hard to tell if you are pulling the glue off or not. I haven’t had it long enough but if it works well as it does today, I will buy two more for 2 other doors

Annoying. Should be more easy to open the door for adults. Takes to much time

Bought it to protect my 3 year old granddaughter. It’s on an upstairs door. Works great.

Extremely satisfied. Skeptical at first but the adhesive was high quality and works as intended. The button was a great addition and was attempted by my toddler. This unit is very easy to unlock with one hand, which is nice for multitasking parents. While actively locked, unlocking from the outside can’t be done - just a note. The good thing is the lock portion cannot be moved up or down without pressing the side buttons so there is no worry for being locked out. Great buy! Highly recommended.

I did not know they made this item for the door handles we have to keep our cat from opening up the door. Years ago we changed out all of the doors knobs to round and then once our cat past away we remodeled and went back to the lever handles. We now have a new cat and needed to do something, wow. this works great
