I purchased this fan because I needed one with multiple bulbs for the location and because I wanted a completely white fan. It is not the most expensive looking: screws don't match, no seal around ceiling, etc. When first installed it hummed like crazy, but after removing the dimmer wall switch I had and replacing it with a regular on/off switch it is perfectly quiet and looks fine, good light, no noise or shimmy. I had someone install for me and he had no problem at all even though there was not previously a fan in this location with addition of an aftermarket fan support box. I would recommend it for an economical fan that looks good and works well. It is a good value for the cost.

Thank you for that review. And you installed correctly by using a fan support electrical box and removing the dimmer switch....two common problems that people encounter. I hope you enjoy the fan for many years. The screws should certainly match though so call customer service at 1-877-706-3267 and they should send you out another set.

I bought this fan for my living room, however, when I tried to install it I was missing a part....
I bought this fan for my living room, however, when I tried to install it I was missing a part. I got in touch with Home Depot customer service who contacted the dealer a Nick Parr who got right on it. Nick contacted me to let me know how sorry he was for the mix up and had the part sent out the next day. The fan works great and my wife is happy. Both Home Depot customer service and Nick came through thanks to both.
