First off I've never spent this much on a fridge but it's absolutely gorgeous. The contents from our old side by side put barely a dent in the capacity of this unit. Installer said it would take a 6-8 hours to cool down, we placed fridge and freezer in "power cool and power freeze" and the fridge and freezer were at temperature in no time.

Really like this fridge. Love the lighting, The flex space we use as a fridge for easy access for our kids drinks and food and it helps us stay organized. Love how the shelves on the right side outer door pulls out. And how the inside shelf on the right retracts so I can put tall things. Overall really enjoy this Fridge!! It is definitely more finger print resistant easy to wipe clean. I love how the freezer has shelves, drawers and door shelves to help me stay organized and help me not waste money on losing track of food.

    Gorgeous
    I stood and stared at this frig when the delivery people set it in place. It's simply gorgeous! After several weeks of use there are a few things I found irritating for my day to day living. The door with the removable baskets seems to be a good idea but not for our family. I rather have more large shelves for the 64oz size bottles, milk and water. The removal basket for condiment is not a every day use for us. The left side door has very tiny space shelves which can't be use for storage, it's slim and long, the width of 2 inches thick can't accommodate any jars I have such as presto sauce, minced garlic, salad dressing, etc.. The handles were carved into the door, nice thought but the chrome material used is finger print magnet! At the end of the day, there are finger prints all around the handles. The water dispenser has a strong water flow, we adjusted the water line to the lowest setting without turning it off and still has splashing problem when getting a glass of water. I am not sure what material was used but magnets would not stick to this refrigerator, if that's important to the moms out there that like to display the kid's project. The freezer on the bottom are well designed, I am happy with the space it has. The shelves and drawers provided ample storage space. Over all, it's a beautiful refrigerator. It's quiet and performing well.

    Best Most Functional Refrigerator Ever!
    The first words out of my son's mouth "WOW, that fridge is awesome!" Samsung has thought of everything. It offers so much storage, versatile and room for everything. Flip-up shelves and slide-out drawers make this refrigerator and freezer customized to meet your Present Storage Needs. Our current refrigerator is nice but we are constantly rearranging just to try and fit more items in. It has a better layout than my current refrigerator and the freezer is laid out efficiently as well. *First, after plugging in, you open the doors and really have to stand back for a minute. The LED lights, light up the entire fridge and there are so many choices, you have to take it all in! *Next, Read the users manual, it has so Many Features and you want to take full advantage of this Remarkable piece of Equipment. If you are looking for an upgraded refrigerator that performs well while still offering maximum capacity inside, then this Samsung model is a solid choice. This Samsung refrigerator has the capacity of 28.00 cubic feet which means this refrigerator can hold 28 bags of groceries which is an amazing amount of food. It is so versatile, keeping everything organized with multiple shelves, drawers, and door bins. There are 6 door bins in all including 3 gallon bins. The fresh food section has tempered glass. Easily drop the temperature in each compartment within minutes with the push of a button. Great for chilling your favorite drinks or firming up ice cream in a flash. It is so versatile, the bottom right door can be a fridge or freezer maximizing which space is needed at the time. Food stays fresher longer with evaporator and Samsung is the industry first. The icemaker can produce ups to almost 9 pounds of ice a day and stores 4.2 pounds that is ready to use, freeing up space. **The Measurements are 36 W, 71 7/8 H, 36 1/4 D, it is currently being used in our garage. We only have 70 inches in height available and are removing two of the upper cabinets in our kitchen, which are not being used anyway. But it is well worth it!. We can not wait to fully enjoy this Energy Star rated, Beautiful, Functional Refrigerator for Years. Highly Recommend!

    An excellent refrigerator
    ​These days Samsung is making one of a kind machines and this one is no different. Good looking, very functional, thoughtful design summarizes my experience so far. To begin with the installation was very well coordinated and our installer was extremely courteous and helpful. He moved our old one and then installed this new piece of equipment. It took him about 2 hours to do so. But he made sure that there is no single piece of plastic or tape on it. He also recommended the best cooling temperature that we should be running it with. The refrigerator is a well crafted one. This one comes with 4 doors and pocket handles (not the protruding ones). The lack of external handles gives it a seamless look and the exterior showcase design is a big plus. The fridge comes with 3 evaporators that provide uniform cooling effect and I am very happy with that. The shelves and the ones on the door provide ample amount of storage for my family. The flex design allows the bottom unit to work either as a fridge or as a freezer which is convenient. I am currently using it as a fridge as I am more into fresh food. The lower 2 compartments (or the freezer area) has shelves. That helps a lot because my older one didn't have one and the freezer became a dumping ground with no organization. It also comes with a wine rack for those who care. :) It can connect to wifi and have your smartphone control some of the features. Though the app needs more work and needs to be more functional and helpful. All in all, a very modern, well built refrigerator that can become a showcase in your kitchen. Well done Samsung!!

    The value is in the many features
    This is a beautiful, seemingly high quality refrigerator with a lot of features. The most notable thing is the form factor - the 4-door french door style, with refrigeration on top and freezer below. Features I have found useful include: * a single dispenser for ice & water - my previous refrigerator had these separate & next to each other, making it seem a bit cramped at times. The dispenser cutout on this is also taller, I can just fit a liter bottle for my soda maker under this one. * versatile bottom section (Samsung calls this a FlexZone) - I don't usually have a lot of frozen foods, so having a third or more of my refrigerator dedicated to freezing has usually resulted in cooling a lot of empty space. On this model, the bottom consists of two separate compartments, one that can be set to function as a freezer or refrigerator. It even has a couple of other options for different temperature ranges, 'soft freezing' and 'chill/meat'. * Easy access water filter - my previous refrigerator had the filter right near the floor, and getting the filter in & out was always a bit of a dance. Here, the filter is at the bottom of the refrigeration section, easily accessible without bending and changing the filter has been much easier. * chime when doors are left open - I've already done this a few times, not quite closing the door completely, so this is a handy feature. * showcase door - I thought this was a useless gimmick at first, but I use it all the time, I didn't realize how often I went in to the refrigerator just to pull one or two things off the door. There are 3 shelves on the door, two of which are actually baskets with a retractable handle that can be easily removed from the refrigerator. This is great for holding condiments that you might want to bring out and put on the table. However, this also means the shelves aren't adjustable. * foldable/retracing shelf (Easy Slide Shelf) - one of the internal selves is composed of 2 separate pieces, the rear can be flipped up or both can be shifted back so taller items can be placed on the main shelves of the refrigerator as needed. * more uniform lighting - all my previous refrigerators had a single light that was mostly fine, but putting a large, opaque item under it would make the refrigerator significantly darker. Here, the light is larger and more diffused in a nice, cool white color. There are other features that, while nice, I haven't found terribly useful myself. However, this is mostly personal preference, others may find these more important. These include: * wine rack - the FlexZone has a 4 bottle wine rack. I don't drink white wine much, and have a dedicated appliance for red wine, so this mostly goes unused. However, it is removable, and plenty of people may well find this a nice, useful touch. * Wi-fi with connected Smart Home app - the app lets you see the current temperature in fridge & freezer, get notified if the door is left open, and turn on the PowerFreeze or PowerCool options for quick cooling when you put something warm in. Otherwise, it doesn't seem to do much with this model, and nothing you can't do from the front panel of the refrigerator. This just feels like a weak attempt at being able to label this a 'smart' appliance. There's nothing I dislike enough to want a different refrigerator, but there are a couple minor annoyances I'd note as they may be more important to others: * water dispenser tube is angled towards the refrigerator - for containers too large to fit comfortably within the dispenser arbor, angling it under the dispenser often results in water spraying onto the back of the dispenser rather than straight down into the container. Thankfully, the arbor is fairly tall. * door shelves are not adjustable - none of them can be moved up or down, and only 1 seems to be tall enough for a bottle of wine or similar height items. However, some of them can be removed. * door handles are finger print magnets - I think this goes for most stainless steel appliances, but here it seems more pronounced due to how the handles are situated - they don't stick out from the unit like they do on many others. Thankfully, its pretty easy to clean. Overall, this is a really nice refrigerator, a pretty substantial step up from my previous refrigerator, which wasn't bad. According to the literature, I should also save some money on energy costs, but I haven't had it long enough to realize this yet. If you like the form factor, and find the FlexZone or other features really useful, I'd highly recommend checking out this model.

    The Swiss Army Knife of fridges!
    We received the fridge about a month ago and haven't been able to stop singing it's praises. It's large, beautiful, loaded with little delighters and full of adaptable features letting the fridge adapt to your needs for you- need more fridge space? Need to arrange for entertaining? Need to move shelves? It adapts easily. The power of this fridge is in the Flex Zone custom temperature compartment. Before a large cookout I used the flex zone on the meat setting to hold all my grill food. Once I started cooking I switched it to freezer in anticipation of leftovers. Once we ate through those it switched to beverage to keep our drinks cold over the summer. Need more fridge, freezer, beverage cooler or meat fridge space? Press a button. It's that cool. The rest of the fridge boasts bright LED lighting, adjustable shelves (one of which slides back out of the way for more big item storage, easy to get to spaces and, another favorite, the quick access door. Keep the things you use most on the outside of your door shelves, and you can grab them quickly without opening the door entirely. I could go on and on about this fridge (and I will in bullet form below) but I can't see myself going back to a two compartment fridge ever again. Installation: The Home Depot delivery service provided by JB Hunt final mile were spectacular. Installation was scheduled and they were fast, professional and helpful. I didn't have to lift a finger Here are the things I really enjoyed about the fridge: 1.) BEAUTIFUL fridge- very sleek design without handles sticking out 2.) Water and Ice in door work great, quickly fill large glasses 3.) Keeps things within 2 degrees of settings with little fluctuation while still being incredibly silent- rarely even hear the ice maker 4.) Clear shelves so you can easily see everything that's in fridge 5.) Fantastic lighting- food is on "showcase" 6.) Water filter is easy to reach and replaced and a light reminds you when to replace 7.) Large amount of fridge space which goes back deep for storing large items 8.) Temperature of each zone is displayed when you get water or open a door 9.) Again the Flex zone makes the fridge work for what you need 10.) Drawers in fridge and freezer are deep and wide- hold a lot! 11.) Great for kids- can easily place kids foods in the outer door or flex zone area for easy access A few things we had to adapt to: 1.) Again - it's deep, so small things can easily get "lost"; we bought bins which helped with storing and easy access 2.) Limited upright/vertical storage space; can adjust shelves if you have a lot of tall items but you lose out on the shelf space. Best to use the door or the slide in shelf area 3.) Odd storage space on the left door- very narrow, not sure what you would put there 4.) Freezer is mostly drawers. It can be hard to freeze things in bags; would need to leave flex zone as freezer if you freeze a lot of leftovers 5.) Front is not magnetic (which may be a pro to keeping the sleek look) 6.) Not touchless stainless steel- hard to keep fingerprints off

    Upscale with high quality performance
    We have been extremely pleased with this Samsung upscale high quality performance refrigerator. From the moment it was delivered, to the rapid cooling and temperature stabilization, the product has been outstanding in our home. This four door model offers all the new design features combined with the benefits of function in our home. We chose this model for the fourth door flex option, as we are using this as an entertainment refrigerator in our lower level. The flex option allows us to use that area for additional chill needs instead of freezer space. It gives me the option for additional refrigerator space when I have more fresh foods in the home during the holidays as well. The digital panel has provided perfect temperature reporting as we checked with both a refrigerator and freezer thermometer. I have been very pleased with the inner design of each space as well. The drawers are deep and trimmed with real stainless steel. The attractive shelving with tempered glass is also a nice feature. I have been using the push back shelf as well as the lift up shelf in the upper right area for tall bottles. The water filter was included and installed on delivery and is easily accessed, with a 6 month replacement plan. I love the LED lighting in the interior of this product. It is very bright and placed perfectly for easy food recognition. The showcase design is very functional, as the shelves slide and also have two baskets which will lift out for easy serving. Condiments could be kept here and removed all at once for burger parties. Smaller products could also be stored here, such as baby food or foods that would need to be sorted prior to serving. Overall this product offers everything that we needed and much more. The doors work easily and quietly. The control panel has been easy to operate, and I have nothing but praise for this Samsung product. Samsung offers a 10 year warranty on this model.

    bad product
    Ice maker quit after a 1 year, which we could except since we don't use much ice. Before 5 years of owning, we got a repair of over 2500 for freon leaks and bad compressor. It will be cheaper to buy a new fridge than repair this expensive fridge. We have a fridge in the garage that is over 20 years and still going strong. I would never buy another Samsung fridge again.

      Very expensive nice looking piece of junk!
      Bought six years ago.. Never had such a repair prone product in my life. Ice maker would never work over a couple of months without repeated failures. Now completely dead!

        Extremely poor quality materials used
        We bought this fridge about 4 years ago, so far we have had to replace 2 broken drawers, 2 broken shelf rails and now the showcase door is stuck and won't open. The plastic parts used are absolutely trash and are literally falling apart. The stainless steel panels are absurdly soft and dent very easily. The cooling system itself works fine so far. We will never buy a samsung appliance again.

          Absolute junk products!
          We bought this Fridge, an over the range microwave/convection oven, a slide in gas range and a dishwasher in June of 2018. A year ago the microwave part stopped working, i have had to fix the top controls on the dishwasher three times, (fyi. not water proof), And just these week the refrigerator stopped cooling all together. A little over five years old and these things have been nothing but junk. Samsung used to be the "gold standard" but not anymore, everything they sell seems to go south just after the warranty expires. Also as a side note, we bought a 55" Samsung curve. 3 years into having it, white spots started appearing on the screen until finally half the screen went blank. My advice is buy anything other than anew Samsung product..

            Do not purchase this refrigerator. We have had this appliance since December 2020, and have been fighting with the ice maker since about 6 months in. Now, as of a week ago, the ice machine is not working at all.

              Poor quality for the price
              We have been struggling with issues for a while. The ice maker freezes over and we had turn off months ago. Now the fridge/freezer stopped working all together. Looking to replace with a better brand.

                beautifull , but not wort it
                We bought this refrigerator, it's beautiful, expensive, but it's not worth it., The ice maker broke befor 2 years pass , the inside sliding shelf broke before 2 years pass.

                  Ice maker failure
                  ice maker failed after one year. samsung did warranty repair but did not seal ice maker. failed again and is now out of warranty. flex zone freezer does not get cold enough to properly freeze.

                    Keeps breaking
                    Ice maker has broken and been serviced several times. It was finally replaced and broke again. Door in door is now broken.

                      Bad Ice maker and poor investment
                      Ice maker was repaired once and repair man stated we would never have a problem again. Fix lasted about a year. Refused to sink more repair money into it after researching all the problems other customers were having with Samsung refrigerators of similar vintage. Now it has stopped cooling. Just under 6 years old.

                          Not worth the cost
                          Not value for money, it broke exactly after 5 yrs and 2-month, coil and compressor everything needs to be changed and fixing will cost more money than buying a new decent fridge.

                            The icemaker freeze-up turns 4 stars into 1.
                            The appliances for my new home were purchased by my builder at my direction. So, it was already 6 months into its warranty before it was ever used. It is a very nice fridge with lots of great features. It's easy to keep clean both inside and out. The stainless exterior seems to repel fingerprints and "food" prints are easy to clean off. However, roughly a year later - after the warranty expired - we had to hire a repairman to fix the icemaker that had turned into a block of ice. At that time, the repairman observed that this was a common problem due to its inclusion in the refrigerator section and would likely happen again. Long story short, the icemaker has been repaired – more accurately, replaced – 2 times and, 6 months later it’s showing the all too familiar freeze up signs. Therefore, I have to ask, how many times do I invest time, energy and money into repeated repairs or just replace.

                              Bought this refrigerator 5 years ago when remodeling. Ice maker has frozen over several times rendering it useless. Yesterday freezer thawed out even though door is closed and temperature set to -2. With repairs we’ve bought it twice now.

                                the refrigerator would deserve 5 stars were it not for the ice maker. i finally gave up on it and ordered a separate countertop ice maker. this is my 2nd samsung fridge with unsolvable issues so i will not buy another. given that, 2 stars is generous.

                                  Just don't purchase if you need a good ice maker
                                  purchased my 1st refrigerator on 2016. 2 years later the ice maker stopped working. it was under warranty and it was unrepairable. the whole refrigerator was replaced in 2018. this ice maker lasted a little longer. having the same problem and awaiting a repair. thank goodness for my warranty. putting the ice maker in the refrigerator is not the best idea. real shame. pretty and functional. just a horrible ice maker.

                                    Just search Samsung and ice makers issues, there's an open class action case across many models, including this one. Unfortunately, I had no idea when I purchased this, but hopefully you will be armed with better information and can avoid the same mistake. To make matters worse, Samsung does not stand behind their products, even with established issues. And, I used to really like Samsung--such a sham(e)!

                                      Great Refrigerator Design, Horrible Ice Maker
                                      purchased this model 22 cu ft refrigerator as part of our whole house remodel about 4 years ago. moved into the house full time 2 years ago. so, not much use until 2 years ago. the ice maker freezes up at least once every 2-3 days. it’s always been “finicky” since day one. but, it’s been freezing up regularly for the past 6 months. i have not tried to get service for it as we live in a rural area. being an engineer by training, i don’t think the problem can be permanently fixed - it’s just a very, very, very poor design. we’ll be buying a different brand to replace the samsung in the near future. very dissappointed ☹️!

                                        SAMSUNG doesn't do ice well
                                        this is our second samsung fridge, and both have the same issue... icemaker fails. why can't samsung use technology that even the cheapest manufacturer knows works? samsung icemakers make frosty ice that doesn't dispense well, freeze up, then quit working right after the warranty expires.

                                          purchased this fridge in 2017, along with a samsung stove and samsung dishwasher. the stove and dishwasher bit the dust within 2 years, and we replaced them with bosch. we have now replaced the ice maker on this fridge 3 times, and it just froze over again. we give. just ordered a ge profile fridge.

                                            It's a fridge, not worth the money.
                                            I've had this model for almost a year and have not experienced ice maker issues (at least not yet). There are other things I didn't consider that would make me think twice before spending that much money again. Too bad HD limits review text these days.
