So far so good!
I only have this new refridgerator since end of October 2014. The delivery and hook up went exceptionally well. I do think the pantry drawer is a little flimsy and over time could break. I got the home depot warranty for 5 years which gives me peace of mind. No deductible so for 30 bucks a year its worth it.

Perfect for our warm climate.
We replaced our relatively-new Samsung French Door refrigerator with this one when we remodeled our kitchen about six months ago. We found that the original refrigerator just didn't give us enough of many things. This refrigerator, on the other hand, is absolutely perfect for us. We live in a warm climate so the optional lower cooler/refrigerator/freezer section was a HUGE selling point for me. I needed somewhere to be able to store fresh produce so that we can buy in bulk and be able to have a variety of produce at one time. This unit has exceeded my needs. The machine that we replaced could not keep up with our ice needs. This one has no problem. The compartments in the doors are much more accommodating than the previous refrigerator. The inside of the refrigerator is easily accessed. We no longer have black holes where things go to never be found again. We have a 'real' freezer in the garage so we don't really rely on the freezer section of this unit but it is a nice option to keep little things inside the house. The only negative I can say with it, after about six months of use, is that we get a little water leakage from the ice/water dispenser. If I didn't need to randomly wipe it off over the course of the day, it would be an absolutely perfect machine. I cannot recommend it enough for people that have similar needs to ours. I love it!

Thanks for all the great feedback, StacyJ808! One suggestion I have for you, if you haven't done so already, is to bleed air from the lines by dispensing about 5-6 gallons of water each time you replace the water filter. This should help to eliminate any dripping from the water dispenser. If you still get some water dripping, it's likely the result of melting ice fragments that remain in the ice chute. The solution for this is to wipe the chute with a towel on occasion, especially after dispensing crushed ice. Hope this helps you enjoy your RF32FMQDBSR even more than you do already! Ms. Samsung

    Love the fridge. It does make some noises when you open the freezer door. I have ran out of ice already. But it cools fast and I love the amount of room in both the freezer and fridge!

    Great refrigerator so far
    We just received the refrigerator yesterday. Delivery was easy, and product had no dents or other damage. The interior is beautiful and well-arranged, with great and classy interior lighting. The ice maker unit has a cool blue exterior display, and the filter is very easy to access for changing. The refrigerator is very deep, causing it to stick out quite a bit from the end of our granite counter-tops, and the sides are not stainless steel which is the reason for my 4-star rating. Others mentioned the fingerprints, but I don't think its any different than our other stainless products, especially with some stainless steel cleaner. We moved it around the kitchen after it was delivered to decide where we wanted to put it, and few fingerprints were on the refrigerator after.

      Our new Samsung Stainless Steel French Door refrigrator is just awesome with its LED interior lighting and large capacity.
      We just love our new Samsung French Door refrigerator with its large volume capacity in both the refrigerator and freezer areas. The interior LED lighting is very nice to find everything quickly and the water/ ice maker is so nice. This is the quietest running unit we have ever purchased. It looks awesome in our kitchen!       Design/Assembly Issues
      The Vertical Hinged Section on the fixed door is to low to engage the closing mechanism. This is either a design or assembly issue and either way, neither the door nor the hinged section is adjustable to correct the problem.

        Not worth it
        This Samsung refrigerator came with the house from the previous owner and it has been disappointing. The ice maker has been repaired under warranty twice and it continues to have problems. The freezer drawer handle broke off last night and it seems to be poorly built. The sad thing is the repair cost is not covered and it is too much to repair this junk. This is the last Samsung I will ever own!

          A nice looking closet. PERIOD
          Bought this fridge in 2016. The only initial complaint was the loud bang when the ice would fall into the bin. To go back to those simple times! Next, water started pooling under the deli bin. Samsung tech came out, emptied the fridge and removed the panel to find a wall of ice. He removed it and replaced a sensor. Then, the ice make started to freeze up. We had to constantly defrost it to get ice. THEN, the fridge started freezing everything inside. Not the freezer, the fridge. It was also reading an incorrect temperature. Replaced the sensor, AGAIN all for the compressor to go less than 12 hours later ON CHRISTMAS EVE. Repairman came out again and got it working but said it could go out in a day or in ten years, couldn’t guarantee anything. Guess what, it didn’t last an hour! Tired of pouring money into this expensive closet. That’s all it’s good for, just holding stuff. Just purchased an LG fridge. Counting down the days until we’re free if this hunk of junk. Samsung has lost another customer. Their refusal to stand behind their shotty appliances should make future buyers beware.

            AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
            The ice maker worked for like a year and froze over. The back builds up ice and the fan dies. Food spoils. Repair took 2 weeks and the compressor was shot. When repaired it worked for 6 months and had the same problem but this time the compressor was not replaced. A patch was put into place but the fix lasted 1 month. I constantly have to defrost the refrigerator.

              Don’t buy unless you like headaches
              Nice and big, except… I’ve had to use a blow dryer in my ice box and an ice pick in my refrigerator…. Samsung should reimburse everyone who has bought this model because there are nothing but issues. Why have I had to pull a 1/2” thick ICE SHEET out of my fridge? Why does the ice maker get so frozen it doesn’t work and I have to blow dry it (or otherwise defrost my entire unit) in order to get it working again? Big appliance with big issue. If I could still return it I would. Heck, Samsung should reimburse me and send me a new unit that actually works like it should, because this one doesn’t.

                Nope, It's Not Good
                All the terrible reviews are completely accurate. 1. Ice maker will fail 2. Eventually water under the refrigerator compartment's pull out tray will accumulate water & ice underneath it. 3. The control panel will fail & freeze the refrigerator 4. Everything you fix under factory (or in my case home) warranty will fail again & again. This is due to poorly designed architecture & poorly built components. Not sure? Please call a few appliance repair people ... ask them about Samsung, and thank them for saving you time spent fixing this ...

                  Don't Get This if You Like Ice and Water!
                  DO NOT BUY THIS REFRIGERATOR!!!! We picked this fridge out as a house warming gift for our home. It worked ok for the first 2 or 3 years but suddenly, the ice and water stopped working one day. We had it repaired. It again decided to just stop one day. Over it. I will do my research before purchasing another fridge.

                        Initial delight...later fright
                        Obviously you cannot purchase this refrigerator any longer, but it is important for me to share my experience. We really loved this refrigerator in beginning - from the style to the features, this unit seemed to tick all the boxes for things we wanted in a refrigerator, especially the ice and water in the door. However, it is the ice maker that is the the epic fail. It freezes up constantly and has little effective way to defrost it. This shouldn't happen, of course, given that refrigerators are frost free. Of further disappointment is the fact that it has already been replaced and, to our frustration, has already frosted up again. Our home is full of Samsung products, but I'm not sure that our next refrigerator will be one of them.

                          Nothing but problems with this refrigerator
                          This fridge is horrible. Samsung did replace the icemaker twice after it malfunctioned. However, auto close hinge on top of left door broke out of the plastic in the door and is non-fixable without replacing the entire left door (this is the one with the external ice/water dispenser). So we have to manually remember to push the door closed tight any time we open either the left or the right door. Then water started leaking/pooling under the deli bin from behind the twin cooling panel. There have be tons of utube videos about the drain clip which is too small and needs to be replaced with a newer version, which apparently doesn't work on this model because the drain veers to the left instead of straight down. We decided to try and fix anyway but screw behind bottom drawer had rusted through from the combination of water pouring over it and door not closing tight all the time. Rusted screw crumbled and unable to remove. So am going to have to replace the fridge and it won't be a Samsung product!

                            Avoid if you can
                            Samsung refrigerators have a major design flaw that causes the condenser pan drain in the back of the fridge to get blocked due to ice buildup and insufficient heating. This causes condensation to build up and then freeze around the condenser which can cause two problems: 1. as the ice melts and is unable to drain it will leak into the crisper drawers and bottom of the fridge cabinet which will then freeze due to proximity to the freezer drawer and 2. ice buildup around the fan may prevent the fan from spinning which then prevents cold air from circulating and the fridge won't be able to stay cool. Samsung does not want to provide a fix. There are DIY videos on the internet explaining how you can fix the problems yourself but they are temporary in nature. The only permanent solution is to get a new refrigerator or avoid buying Samsung altogether.

                              Keeps cool, many broken parts
                              We bought this refrigerator several years ago. It still keep items cool and frozen- we've never had an issue there. However, within the first year, the freezer door handle popped off, the bottom pull-out drawer of the fridge cracked, and the right-side door shelf broke off. Also the bottom pull-out drawer get stuck so easily and gets off track when pulling it out and pushing it back in. After about 1.5 years, the ice maker completely stopped working despite our troubleshooting to fix it (I am finally on this site looking for a complete replacement for the ice maker). The bottom pull-out drawer is pretty much cracked all the way in half, and the right-side door shelf has been glued back together 4 times. Not super impressed with this refrigerator or samsung house appliances in general (we have a couple others).

                                Terrible Buy
                                Have had issues with it since day one. Ice maker needed to be replaced. Major issue is that the system used to cool and evaporate water does not work well. Long story short I have to pull out the bottom drawer and remove water on a weekly basis.

                                      I bought this as a set when we moved into our home. I have had nothing but trouble from the start. It has made about 1 handful of ice. It freezes up in the back of the refrigerator and I have to move all my food and DEFROST my refrigerator.

                                        Can’t keep it cold
                                        I purchased refrigerator in 2019, and have had to replace the fan motor twice. Again, the fan motor is not working and I will need to have the fridge serviced. The fridge temp will not go below 50 degrees and if I don’t keep up with removing the puddle of water under large drawer, the water leaks out onto my kitchen floor. I’ve had to throw out so much spoiled food because of this issues. For the price of this fridge it should last more than 3 years without constant cooling issues. I really want to love this fridge…it looks nice and has a lot of space in both fridge & freezer.

                                          Poor quality and terrible ice maker
                                          Bought this refrigerator in 2017. The ice maker stopped working within a year and was repaired. It stopped working again after the warranty and we did without ice for a couple of years. I set up a repair call to have it repaired again. The man came out and when I asked if the ice maker replacement was exactly the same or if they had made improvements, he stopped working on it and started packing up his equipment saying that he wasn't going to replace it. So now we have been without ice another 2 years and have had to turn off the water to the fridge because it has developed a leak inside and the back is rusting. For what I paid for, it's shame that I can't have ice or water dispenser working. I will be looking for another fridge today, and it won't be a samsung. Their appliances are not high quality. Our microwave went out in 2 years and had to be replaced.

                                            Do not buy this product
                                            This product is trash. The ice maker has been a problem since the beginning as well as ice build-up in the back panel. We replaced those parts at the end of Dec. 2022, and are now having the same issues with being able to hear the fan hitting ice. We will be purchasing a new non-Samsung fridge to replace this 8 yr old nightmare.

                                              Terrible. Do Not Waste Your Money.
                                              We bought all new Samsung appliances when we moved into our home in 2017 including this model fridge. It was great for awhile. Then the trouble started. The fan in the back kept freezing over and having to be replaced. Multiple times. The first time or two we hired someone to do it. Then my husband did it at least 2 more times. Each time it required defrosting with a heat gun and / or hair dryer after completely emptying the fridge and pulling the back panel. Also, the ice make also kept freezing over. We finally stopped trying to fix the ice maker and started buying ice. Also, it does not keep a constant temperature throughout the fridge Items in the back near the fan get so cold they freeze. More recently it start leaking water all over our kitchen floor. In short, this expensive, major appliance was way more hassle and headache. We have a GE Profile being delivered today because we just want to be rid of this thing.

                                                Fridge constantly Freezes (water/ice buildup)
                                                There weren't any issues until we noticed that our food in the fridge started to become frozen. After a while, we noticed a puddle on the bottom underneath the CoolSelect Pantry. If you don't clean up the water puddle, it will eventually become a chunk of ice like an ice skating rink. The fridge compartment eventually became as cold as the freezer. I called a service technician at least 4x already and they couldn't do anything to fix it, claiming "Samsung has had this issue with this fridge since it first came out for production and it's not under our warranty to fix known conditions". Meaning, you will never get it fixed or if you do, the problem will come again after a few years. It was temporarily fixed when I noticed that my drain tubes (behind and underneath the fridge) was clogged, not allowing the frozen coils to properly drain and when I manually reinstalled a new temperature probe but the problem came back after one year. Overall, bad design. Heating coils do not heat enough or properly drain, draining tubes can get clogged easily, improper air ventilation, and/or bad temperature sensors can lead to the fridge compartment freezing all your food. I DO NOT RECOMMEND TO BUY.
