[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought our microwave a few months ago. I love it! It cooks foods perfectly, and defrosts efficiently. I made a frozen pizza using the convection feature, and the crust was crispy. The air fryer feature made my wings turn out great! The skin was crispy and the meat was still tender. The fan has 3 modes which is nice, while the overhead light provides 2. It is really easy to use, and there are a lot of preset functions to choose from. My popcorn was perfect, only leaving 2 unpopped kernels behind. There is a nice cooking guide label located inside of the door. This microwave is also blutooth. I can tell if my kids used it even while I am at work. It will also tell you when your food is done cooking, or if you leave the door open. I highly recommend this product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the Samsung Microwave/Convection & Slim Fry Oven! I've been using a NuWave oven for years for it's air fry feature. With the kitchen remodel this year, we decided to replace the NuWave with the Samsung oven due to it's multiple cooking features & since we needed to create more counter space by placing the microwave above the stove/under the cupboards. The NuWave is OUT and the Samsung Oven is IN! When I read the manual prior to it's instillation, I thought the cooking leaning curve would take some time. Boy, was I wrong! The grill feature and Slim Fry are my favorites and worked well the 1st time out! I can't say enough about how well and how versatile the Samsung Oven is! I'm VERY pleased with it's performance. Cooking is excellent, quick and clean up is simple. I'm enjoying cooking and experimenting with new features. Samsung provides all the needed cooking info in a concise form and some info is also added on the inside of the oven door for convenience. It's very helpful. I love the oven so much, I'll be looking for a counter top model (if Samsung makes one) for my 2nd home. All the important racks, grills and cooking paraphernalia are included with the oven so your all set to cook, once instillation is complete! I've also downloaded the app to control the oven which adds to the great Samsung features. I recommend this unit to anyone who is in need of a wonderfully working oven. Enjoy!!

It does a great job cooking things like chicken nuggets and strips. They come out nice and crispy. I have also prepared pot pies and the top crust comes out toasted and fluffy. You can use Samsung Smarthings to control some functions from your phone if you want.. The LED over the oven light is also a plus. I am glad I waited for this microwave. AND.. it looks great in my kitchen paired with my new Samsung Gas Range.

We are trying to sell our house and our old microwave had a lot of dents in the front. This one had a good price and was the same brand as our stove so I gave it a try. The fan button is placed in a very bad location and turns on frequently when you are just trying to open or close the door. The cooking guide label got a tear in it immediately after a couple of uses. I contacted tech support. They gave me a link to the Samsung support website and told me to order and install a new label myself. The support website did not actually have the new label anywhere to order. Since we are out of time to order another new microwave, we will have to let the new homeowners live with this one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We chose this microwave because it pairs beautiful with our new Samsung range. Not only do they look good together the speak the same language. Both of them are smart devices so when I light one of the burners on the range the fan on the microwave automatically comes on. The microwave heats quickly, has a ton of quick preset cooking and reheating modes. You can set the modes easily from the app on your smart device which makes it really easy to use. I really like that the interior of the microwave is a ceramic coating like the inside of a range so it’s really easy to clean. One of the gratuity like most is that the app alerts you when the cooking cycle is complete, so I can be doing other things outside or in the basement and know when something like leftover baked ziti is warmed up and ready.

Over-the-Range Convection Microwave has to offer. To start the look of Black Stainless Steal is beautiful, finger resistant and sleek. The design of the door makes it very easy to open and you don’t have to worry about a handle that sticks out. I also love the WiFi capabilities and notifications. This is especially important when multitasking chores and cooking in the microwave, the WiFi capabilities will let you know on your mobile devise when your food is done. Now onto the cooking functionality: 1. Slim Fry option: This is great feature, I tried French fries and it came out great and is much healthier than frying in oil! 2. Convection Cooking: I love that I don’t have to hear my house up to cook in the oven for smaller meals. This feature works amazing and cooks food perfectly. 3. Inside Door Panel: provides a list of settings to program so you don’t have to memorize them. Great quick reference. 4. All the racks/Trays: There is a quick reference booklet that this came with it to breakdown how to use these racks/trays and positioning them during cooking. This is a life saver. Don’t lose it! 5. Interior: This is a ceramic enamel blue interior that is very easy to clean and beautiful in color. 6. Eco Feature: To save on energy it also has an eco feature by selecting will turn off the time light display to save energy when not using. I must say I highly recommend this 1.7 cu. ft. Over-the-Range Convection Microwave - Black Stainless for all you cooking needs. It’s so universal and has exceeded my expectations. Way to go Samsung!

The led lights are bright and give more than enough light for the cooking you do on your range under this microwave. There are much more options available than in regular microwave. The slim fry option is great if you want to get fries fast. They come out delicious and crispy. It also has a convection option - really nice to have in a microwave - great if you want to bake something smaller or for bigger cooking, you have an extra baking space if your oven range is already full. I love the extra racks that you can use for different products. There is a lot of space inside as well - you can fit in a whole chicken inside. The cooking guide list which shows after you open the doors comes in really handy. For those who want the vent to go outside there is an option for that. Smart connectivity is great. You can pair this with a Samsung range and control it from your phone, even by your voice! Fingerprint resistant stainless steel is awesome - really easy to keep it clean. Overall a great product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We decided to upgrade our previous Samsung Microwave and what an improvement with the features. We chose the black stainless finish which is so smooth and elegant looking. An added feature with this finish is that it's fingerprint resistant. They keypad is a soft touch and doesn't need much of any pressure to select your settings. The display is a nice lit up blue color that matches our Samsung stove. The under lighting is a nice bright white that allows me to see what I'm cooking on the stove. The exhaust fan is amazing and has three settings which is powerful and not as loud. This microwave has convection cooking built in and we have been able to bake, roast, and broil meals. One of the major features we like is the slim fry option - abling us to make french fries for our daughter in the microwave. It comes out nice and crispy and she loves it! Being that this is a smart microwave it has smart connectivity where I can control and monitor the microwave from the smart things app. This is a great feature as I can put my food to heat up and go do something else in the mean time and then I get a notification on my watch or phone when the cook time is over.

The microwave is stainless steel and fingerprint resistant, which makes cleaning very easy. It has limitless possibilities. We have only owned it for a few weeks now, but are looking forward to utilizing all of its features. It has preprogrammed settings to cook various kinds of food at the perfect temperature and time. We love the Slim Fry setting. This allows up to have the tastiness and texture of fried foods without all the hassle and mess of actually having to deep dry them! We downloaded the Samsung Smart Appliance app and connected the microwave to it with ease. Our kitchen just got a serious upgrade! The light underneath the unit shines bright and beautiful. We use it as a nightlight to keep the kitchen slightly lit throughout the night. We really like this microwave and couldn't be happier! This unit stands alone from others on the market because of it's size and versatility. This microwave has plenty of power, rated at 1000 watts. The stainless steel look finish is gorgeous and looks great above the Samsung range. The possibilities are endless with this microwave! It had preprogrammed settings to cook various kinds of food at the perfect temperature and time. One of our favorite features is the Slim Fry setting. It has Samsungs Smart Control capability which we absolutely love! It is slightly heavier than our older unit, but was still easy to mount and install. Setting it up with Samsungs Smart App was a breeze as well. It only took a few moments to get it linked up with the wifi. The greatest part about having all of our Samsung appliances linked together, is when the gas range turns on, the fan for the microwave automatically turns on as well. This is a great feature that our old and outdated microwave could never do! We really like this microwave because of it's size and versatility. We are very happy with our purchase and you will be too!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a beautiful and elegant microwave. We had previously a 2.1 cu ft. and we replaced by the Samsung 1.7 cu ft. stainless steel. I really don't see much a difference between the 2.1 to the 1.7 as I consider this Samsung pretty spacious inside. The microwave is stainless steel and fingerprint resistant, which makes cleaning way easier. Also, it complements really nice our kitchen and pairs with our Samsung smart range. Setting it up was fast: you just go to the Samsung Smart App and it took a few minutes to set up everything; the app found the microwave and synchronized with my Samsung smart range. Then the most amazing feature ever: the fan turn on automatically every time that you turn on the stove top. Not to mention that the fan is really quiet and powerful to remove all the steam and odors. Another great feature is the child lock, which is also very handy when cleaning the front of the microwave. This microwave have so many features, some are the usual microwave feature such as auto defrost, reheat, popcorn, etc. But there are other new features such as melting butter, which makes melting butter cleaner and not as splashy; slim fry, which grill chicken tenderloins perfectly (as long as you use the special tray provided for the slim fry). Altogether, this is an amazing product and big update to our kitchen.

I will say I have not been disappointed and this microwave is not any different. It far exceeds my expectations. You can tell the design team put some hours into thinking what would the user want. Starting off it looks sleek and goes with the kitchen. The large back glass to the lighted buttons on the side. I like that I don't have to pull a handle, it's on the side where you can see it. It has the ability to pair with the app which was very easy and pretty cool. It has bright white LED lights that shine down below. The fans are strong but quieter than my old one. Even when the microwave is in use it is not as loud. There are a lot of preset functions to it. Like melting butter, steaming, defrosting, and even reheating food. This microwave has plenty of power, rated at 1000 watts. You have the ability to reduce the power if wanted. Overall, this is much better than my old microwave and it complements my kitchen and cooking a lot!

This thing has so many cooking modes that you'll be hard pressed to find something that you can't cook in it. We've microwaved dishes to heat them quickly, we've cooked crispy chicken using the convection oven feature, we've cooked chicken nuggets with the slim fry feature, we've baked cakes, and we've defrosted frozen meats quickly and safely. Each meal has come out awesome. Since we can use this as a convection oven, we've used this most of the time instead of the oven to keep the house cooler. The fan on the microwave turns on automatically to exhaust hot air and keep the house much cooler than when using a normal oven. Plus, the convection oven circulates heat so well that meals cook a bit quicker too. In addition to the many cooking features, this thing looks amazing and we've received many compliments on it. The microwave looks so sleek without a handle sticking out front, it's smooth and flows with the rest of the kitchen so nicely. While there's no tactile feel with the buttons, they're very responsive and have performed perfectly. The buttons are flush with the microwave adding to the nice looks. If you have a smart home setup, you'll be happy to know that this microwave integrates with that and with the Samsung Smartthings app. You can setup cooking modes from within SmartThings and send them to this microwave. You'll also be notified when your food is ready on your phone if you're in another room helping your kid with homework or watching the game on TV. These features are so helpful and you'll appreciate them integrated into your microwave. Oh, I also want to note that this microwave comes with some awesome and useful accessories. The enamel backing pan has been used on almost every meal we've made. It helps meals cook evenly and crispy, while also being easy to clean. Thanks for including that Samsung! We've had a ton of fun testing out different types of recipes in the microwave and been pleasantly surprised at how well they've turned out. If you're looking for a kitchen appliance that can cook a ton of different foods quickly and easily, I highly recommend this super microwave.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This microwave looks and feels like a premium product. Just opening and closing the door feels satisfying. Exterior of the microwave looks sleek. No handle design makes the microwave look modern. Stainless steel finish looks great. Inside the microwave has plenty of space for anything you would need to microwave. It has a blue ceramic finish inside. I prefer this finish over the basic white finish inside most standard microwaves. Only complaint is that it’s a bit difficult to see inside while the microwave is operating, which is not really a big deal to me. The light underneath is a bright LED light that does its job. The duel vent fan system also does its job well when cooking on your stove top. There’s more to this microwave than being a good looking appliance in your kitchen. Convection oven capabilities is a game changer! We get pretty hot summers where I live. It’s great to be able to cook something in the microwave without heating the house up using the oven. I baked a small cake in the microwave the other day! Never thought a convection oven in the microwave was necessary until I owned it. Now I will never go without. This smart microwave will link to your smart oven as well. It’s pretty neat. Does cool things like automatically turn on your vent when you’re cooking on your stove top. I love the voice command. Nothing better than to be able to tell it want to do when your hands are full. It took me a few I must admit to figure out all the different option available, But once I did it was a breeze. Then to be able to roast a chicken and not have the kitchen get warm. The SlimFry feature is one of my favs too. I have a busy household with 7 people here and it just flows easy. They all have used it and love it too. I almost don't need a range with with all the extras. With the holidays coming it is going to be wonderful to have a extra oven! I really don't have anything to say negative about this product. Thank you Insider's for allowing me to review this microwave. From a family of 2 or a full large family this be a great pick for your home. I almost forgot add. It cleans itself! :)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently had the new 1.7 cu. ft. Over The Range Convection Microwave installed in my home. I have to say that it looks amazing and fits in perfectly with the rest of my appliances. It is so much better than the one I had before. I didn’t realize how much I would appreciate having the larger microwave. There are many things I like about his unit. First, I like the way it looks in my kitchen. It is sleek and was easy to install. Next is the functionality. I am really enjoying the slim fry option. Cooking French Fries or Chicken Nuggets for the kids are a breeze with this option. The warmer is super helpful when I am cooking a large meal and don’t want one of my dishes to get cold. The lights and fan functions work great when I am cooking on my cooktop. These lights make seeing what I am cooking so much better, and the fan keeps the steam away so that I can actually see my food while I am cooking it. They have also included a Steam Clean option on this microwave which is a huge bonus for me. I used to dread having to clean the inside of my microwave. Now it is so much easier to clean that I can do it more often. My microwave has never looked so clean.

Bought this convection microwave, for our mountain cabin, to replace a GE Profile, barely 5 years out of warranty. LOVE the convection feature! Use this more than my regular oven now! Matches my Samsung Fridge too!

Had problems right away and finally sent someone to fix it. Two years later same problem and Samsung wants to me to pay to have it fixed or buy a new one. No thank you! Never buying Samsung again!

I really wanted to love this microwave/convection combo but unfortunately I hate it, to the point where I’m getting rid of it after owning it for a few months. The actual convection part works ok but takes FOREVER to heat up (just as long as my regular oven) which is fine if you don’t have an oven or need a secondary but if your just wanting something to cook up small things quickly this isn’t it as good as a countertop version. The slim fry is worthless unless your cooking the items on the preset list, if your cooking something not on that list (frozen Tequitos for example) you have no idea what preset option will work. I tried to use the grill function once and it would have been faster/easier to cook on the stove. Lastly (and the worst feature) is the actual microwave. I replaced a 15yr old microwave with this Samsung and it’s much less powerful then my old one ,the food constantly comes out cold. I have to cook things 2x longer than my older microwave which is ridiculous. If the package says cook for 60 seconds you have to almost guess as to how long you really need (90 seconds? 2 minutes? Who knows). Overall I hate using this thing. It’s nice to have a secondary oven but I would rather have the countertop version and a microwave that actually heats things up

I bought this microwave after doing extensive research and have found it to be everything that I wanted. The features are a real plus and having wifi capabilities is very nice.

This model is a nice update to the one we had before for over 10 years, very happy with the experience.

I wish I could say that I love this microweave, but it's been a hassle since it bought. The microwave works when it wants to. The exhaust fan doesn't work when something is in the microwave. It makes a loud rattling noise when you set it to bake at 400 or above. Yesterday, while cooking something with the slim fry feature, the microwave stop working for about 30 mins - I'm assuming it over heated. And the worst part about it is trying to get it repairied will probably be more of hassle.
