Just dont but Samsung
The words on the control panel have smeared off and Samsung says its normal if laundry detergent get on the panel. Really that's crazy

need option for no stars, this machine is GARBAGE
garbage machine, garbage customer support. was asked for my bank statements to prove i bought it from a store, the sears receipt should have been enough. claimed the model number was not theirs, wanted me to pay for an extended warranty on a product they claim wasn't theirs. the back bearing failed a year after owning it, they continue to fail every 6 months.. don't buy this garbage

Broke in less than 4 years
do not purchase a samsung washer! after many ub error codes and weeks of troubleshooting the washer would not do a high speed spin cycle, after some work we found rust on the stator. we ordered a new stator but found out that the bearing on the back of the tub failed and was leaking, hence the rust on the stator. fixing the stator would only be an expensive and endless cycle of the machine breaking. appliances are meant to last at least longer than this, expecially for what we paid. we do not overload the washer, always make sure it's leveled and ran calibration multiple times. i have everything samsung (phone, watch, tv's, robot vacuum, etc) due to this i'm considering never buying another samsung product again.

Drum cracked after three years
DO NOT PURCHASE A SAMSUNG DRYER!!!! The dryer drum cracked after three years (obvious manufacturer defect) and Samsung is not willing to do anything to standby their product. A dryer drum is not an item that's expected to wear (it's not a belt or something like that); a drum should last the life of a dryer (10 years plus). Now they want me to absorb another $500 or more in repair costs.

Less than 5 years old and the electronics are not working and the repair guy said he might not be able to get the repair parts.
I use to love Samsung because of the quality, and features. We have a samsung TV that is over 10 years old with no issues. Samsung washer and dryer that was several years old, auto balance feature, had to stay at old house when we moved. We bought new Samsung washer and dryer and very disappointed. The dryer needed repaired about 3.5-4 years old and now the washer 4.5 years old and the electronics are broke and the repair guy is unsure that Samsung will have part. If I have to buy another washing machine, I will never buy another Samsung again. The add clothes door hinge is flaking and leaks. Don’t waste your money but a different brand.

Horrible experience
washer is leaking, water remains in the the detergent/ softener tray and water smells after not using the washer for a few days.

Already falling apart
Only a year and a in and the pieces are already breaking down after normal use. Very disappointed.
