I would give it a zero, but that is not offered. The dryer worked for 3 weeks, 9 loads before I had to get serviced. I have returned and ordered a LG replacement. Home Depot has made it right for us. It has been a very difficult experience with Samsung. I would never recommend. The Samsung repair experience was terrible and I can’t stress this enough.

Dryer Tempered Glass Shattered
We’ve purchased dryer less than a year ago. Tempered glass door shattered. Also, drum and lint trap has broken glass. Our clothes have tiny pieces of glass. Samsung refuses to replace dryer.

The Installer Failed to Connect the Water Supply
My recent purchase of the Samsung DVE45B6300W came with the install kit and free installation. However, the installer failed to connect the water supply, rendering the key selling point, Steam Sanitize+, unusable. While the dryer itself boasts promising features, this oversight during installation has left me dissatisfied.
Consequently, I now find myself having to wait for a few more days until they can send someone out to correct the mistake.

Makes me hate doing laundry even more.
Quality leaves a lot to be desired. Slightest pressure leaves dents. Standard setting is high heat. VERY low. I'm sure a pedestal is available, without it be prepared to sit in the floor to do your laundry or have a backache. Lint trap is a unique idea (folding trap) that requires a lot if effort to open - either cutting your finger or breaking a nail - Placing it back in is nearly impossible. Had this less than a month and it has numerous dents and the lint trap is on it's way to breaking!

LOUDER than a Harley Davison
Purchasing this dryer has been a disaster. I bought from a company that charges nearly 300.00 to install. I tried to save some money and ended up pending more for a faulty installation and a dryer that sounds 10 years old. The drum squeaks and rattles.

Samsung platinum dryer with sanitizer
I was looking forward to my new dryer until it was delivered in a halfazzed hurried fashion. I have Parkinson’s and I have difficulty with mobility. The delivery guy left my dryer out in my laundry room walkway; failed to install the proper duct ; left the tape & wrapping on the dryer; didn’t show me how the dryer worked; didn’t ensure the dryer was aligned with my washer and had me sign his phone without having me check the dryer. I immediately called to file a complaint. Unacceptable.

Amazingly efficient

Manufacturing defect that Samsung does not cover.
Samsung dryer make a thumping sound since day one. Samsung Tec said the metal frame behind the front door was not properly sealed/installed and this is a very common manufacturing defect and since it is a physical damage, the Samsung warranty will not cover it and he asked me to contact Home depot. But I am not eligible for a refund or replacement because I did not contact them within 48-hour of delivery. I look forward for a favorable solution from Samsung on this issue.

I didn't know how much I would LOVE this, but WOW!

With the Wi-Fi capability of this dryer, I no longer let the finished clothes just sit! It allows me to know IMMEDIATELY when the cycle is complete! My favorite feature has to be the Steam Sanitize+ function though! I put what I plan to wear in the dryer before I go to bed and can activate the Steam Refresh function from my bedroom in the mornings when I wake up and I am READY TO TAKE ON THE DAY - wrinkle-free and smelling FRESH!!! Thanks, Samsung! This dryer is AMAZING!!!

Great Dryer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My new Samsung dryer is great! Being able to stack this dryer has allowed me to open up my laundry area to make it more useful. The dryer controls are easy to navigate and make doing laundry enjoyable. The dryer is quiet and the smart features for setting up custom cycles work well. I get notifications on my other smart devices when the cycle is done so no more having to check to see when it's time to switch out the laundry! The normal cycle works great and gets my laundry dry quickly and the refresh steam cycle will get wrinkles out of my shirt without having to iron it. I really like the large capacity of the dryer and the ability to switch which way the door swings.
