I’ve had this range for seven months and couldn’t hate it more. Stove is ok. Diameter of burners is too large for for the grate space so you will never be able to use the large spaces on high heat because the flame will just wrap around your pots. Oven is plain awful. First, the convection is two small fans, one for the top and one for the bottom. They do not stay on- just kick on for about 15 seconds of every two minutes or so. I spoke with Samsung and that is the designed functionality. This means you will NEVER get that dry atmosphere for crisping meats- forget that crispy skinned chicken amd don’t even think about a turkey. Also, the thermometer won’t work if you’re using the oven divider, so forget about keeping an eye on your meat temp in the top while your sides finish on the bottom. Again, Samsung confirmed that is the designed functionality. Finally, I have not seen a more uneven bake. If youre going to bake, just buy the boxed stuff because your quality won’t be any good in this uneven-temp-ineffective-convection oven anyway. You absolutely cannot use the oven divider for things like pizza- you need to use the full oven or your pizza will burn black dowm the middle of the top before the dough is even cooked (see photo)- a testimemt to how ineffictive the convection function is. If you cannot use the divider for small things like pizza- whats the point?! So in short- if you want something that LOOKS smart, this is ok. If you actually want to cook or bake, buy something else. I recommend the Frigidaire double oven that HD sells. That’s what I had in my last house and this failure makes me really miss it.
