Loved the look of this unit from the start but was concerned about two things. One being the divider being able to keep the upper oven from heating the lower oven do to the rather thin divider. Not a problem. We used the upper oven at 350 degrees for 15 min to reheat supper and when we were done I opened the entire door to place my hand in the lower part and it was just warm. I could comfortably keep my hand on the lower oven racks. Two. We had concerns about wanting to check an item in the lower oven while also cooking in the upper oven and letting all the heat out of the upper. (You need to open the entire door to gain access to the lower).. I suppose the heat will escape the uppermost oven but it don't seem to matter much. There are some limitations on temperature ranges you can use if both ovens are on. Such as, you can't cook at 450 degrees in the lower and expect the upper to be at 200. The stove top burners are very nice. The large one will boil large pots in a jiffy, and the upper oven preheats fast. All and all my wife loves it, it looks great and looks to be well built.

  • Good but has odd design glitches regarding fire power

The oven works great, I love the small oven option. The stove is beautiful but it has two minor glitches. 1. The middle long burner has only very low heat so it doesn't really work to grill meat at all. Good for pancakes but that's about it. 2. The burners are different sizes and the heat is very strong. The right front burner is SUPER POWERED for very high heat cooking. While even on low the next biggest burner (left front) is very high heat. So I am relegated to using the two back burners for cooking. I actually tend to start on the left front, move to the left back and end up on the right back. But it's weird to not be able to simply keep my pot or pan on one burner the whole time. I am constantly having to move them between the three smaller burners while not even using the very strong Front right burner. It's a bit complicated but I guess I will get accustomed to it. The over is fabulous. And I love the fact that the handles light up because I sometimes forget when I have a burner on.

Pros Durable, High Quality, Looks Great, Lots of Features, Nice Design, Stylish Cons Difficult to Use, burners have uneven heat, not a big range of firepower on individual burners, have to switch from burner to burner to achieve di, long middle burner has very weak fire power., can't grill (high heat) steak on middle grill.

She's Purdy but she's one hot mess! These two ovens operate differently so it'll take some trial and error to cook your foods right. Top oven has the heating element above. DO NOT put your food inside until it has fully preheated (which is usually much longer than when it chimes that it is) unless you are just using the broiler function otherwise it'll burn. Do not bake any cookies or cakes etc up top or they will be undercooked and burnt. Lower oven has the heating element below. Most baking can be done here BUT get yourself an oven thermometer because it can be very inaccurate...you may need to set to 390 to get a true 350 temp etc. I've had her 1 1/2 yrs now so I got this down now. That powerful front double ring of fire I wanted so bad...rarely use it. Stand back because if she don't light after first 3 ticks she lights up like a blow torch! Then her flame over reaches most of my pots so expect some burnt handles. And keep everything away...I've melted many a tupperware near there. Tiny burner behind that...left a pot on stove and put it to lowest setting...came back an hour later and house smelled of gas...it goes out on lowest setting..! If you are an experienced enough cook you can probably put up with her faults...if you are a baker I'd say not. I'm grateful for the blue lit knobs as I've become forgetful and I love the black stainless....and I do like the 2 separate ovens and successfully cook in them regularly...now.

First of all when it was delivered it had a dent on the right side and I was told by Samsung that if I wanted to return it I would not get a replacement till January sometime. I decided to accept it and was told money would be taken off, but so far I have not seen that happen. I would like a new stove and I am very upset with Homedepot and may not buy from them again.

Great Oven, Very Modern Looking! We really love this oven and goes with our Samsung Dishwasher and Frig. This is very cool with WIFI connection too. I like that this slide-in actually has a lip to set on the countertop - most do not. Most other slide-in units now have no lip and food can easily slip down the sides - I would never got one without the lip to set on the countertop. Install - very easy, lots of room on back. Installing the propane orifice are not easy - the top was easy but inside the oven was more challenging but not impossible. Yes - if you have propane you need to switch out the orifices. This was not too difficult - very easily understood by the directions - and the orifices are included with the oven! Top is easy to clean and removing the grates is very easy. The overall surface is very easy to clean - just use little of soap and water. The knobs are very nice - so much better than any other oven I looked at with this price point. Double oven - very nice and easy to use. The Wok attachment and special gas burner is fantastic - so much more heat and stabilizes the wok so nicely. My wife is Japanese and loves cooking with the Wok attachment compared to older oven.

We have had this stove about 1 month. The burners heat quickly and the lights never let you forget what's on. The oven is easy to operate and is accurate. Just set the temp and time and it sends notifications to my phone when it's up to the set temperature. Another notification it's almost done and a time to eat notification when it's done and has turned the heat off. Glad we got this one.

  • Looks good, cooks TERRIBLY

I’ve had this range for seven months and couldn’t hate it more. Stove is ok. Diameter of burners is too large for for the grate space so you will never be able to use the large spaces on high heat because the flame will just wrap around your pots. Oven is plain awful. First, the convection is two small fans, one for the top and one for the bottom. They do not stay on- just kick on for about 15 seconds of every two minutes or so. I spoke with Samsung and that is the designed functionality. This means you will NEVER get that dry atmosphere for crisping meats- forget that crispy skinned chicken amd don’t even think about a turkey. Also, the thermometer won’t work if you’re using the oven divider, so forget about keeping an eye on your meat temp in the top while your sides finish on the bottom. Again, Samsung confirmed that is the designed functionality. Finally, I have not seen a more uneven bake. If youre going to bake, just buy the boxed stuff because your quality won’t be any good in this uneven-temp-ineffective-convection oven anyway. You absolutely cannot use the oven divider for things like pizza- you need to use the full oven or your pizza will burn black dowm the middle of the top before the dough is even cooked (see photo)- a testimemt to how ineffictive the convection function is. If you cannot use the divider for small things like pizza- whats the point?! So in short- if you want something that LOOKS smart, this is ok. If you actually want to cook or bake, buy something else. I recommend the Frigidaire double oven that HD sells. That’s what I had in my last house and this failure makes me really miss it.

It worked for one after installation and then wouldn’t turn on. After many phone calls we were told someone would respond with an appointment time within 24-48 hrs. Two weeks later we still never heard from anyone. After messing with the it for a while my husband got it working again but not what one should expect from such an expensive, brand new appliance. Samsung has the worst customer service of any company I have ever dealt with but the retailer failed us as well. The oven is a great concept if the customer service was there to back it up.

Packaging was excellent, no missing parts, no damage. Took the time (3 hrs) to properly set up, hook up the gas line, adjust height for counter fit and install rear trim piece to close gap between back of range and wall. Instructions are well laid out. Only cooked a few meal, but everything works as advertised. We hope and expect this Samsung product to work as well and as long as our house full of Samsung TV's.
