I love my new radio. The sound is good...
I love my new radio. The sound is good and it gets good reception. Setting the alarms is a little bit of a challenge but I conquered it after a couple mishaps. The volume control is large and easy to reach, the increasing sound of the alarm is a good idea.

I ordered this radio on impulse, then read the reviews. I returned it without even opening the box. The FM radio performance, according to the reviews, were very good, but the AM performance was sub-par. (It seemed that the A/C to DC power adapter -- the radio doesn't have a conventional A/C power cord -- generated a lot of RFI, causing a lot of noise especially on weaker AM radio signals.) I normally wake up to AM news channels. Secondly, the performance as an ALARM CLOCK looked very poor. Read the reviews on-line. Very hard to program, and very difficult to skip a day or change the alarm time. I just didn't want to deal with it. My existing Panasonic table alarm clock radio, with conventional, not digital, radio tuning, but with a digital clock, is extremely easy to program. It also has dual alarms and a snooze button. The only problem with it is the small volume control POT on the top, after like 15 years, gets ratty when adjusting the volume. But I'll live with it until I find something better.

The radio reception was everything I had read about! Great reception! A very weird thing happened the clock is very fast. It is 30 to 60 minutes fast per day. I will return it and get a new one I am not concerned about this I hope it is a fluke.

Small and compact to fit nicely on a bedroom end table. The reception is very good. I was looking for a radio that has both AM and FM and this one does. Large digital display of time. Great purchase...filled all my criteria for a clock radio.
