Product was obviously returned and not inspected. Was scratched and dented. Had to swap out for a new one and instead of getting help from customer service, made me go get the new one and wait in line while rep was on the phone.

Worked great until it didn't
"I loved these locks and had them installed in my home, offices, and all our Airbnb properties. One day, after four months, we were locked out of the system. I contacted support via email and received no response for a week. In the meantime, we had Airbnb renters moving in and out. We had to replace the locks. Finally, I got customer service on the phone, and they were rude and unhelpful. We now have about $7,500 worth of smart locks that are completely useless!!! Do not buy."

PIECE OF GARBAGE
This lock is installed in a protected area and is not used on a daily basis - in fact, rarely used. It worked fine for first 2 years...then it started eating batteries. I was replacing batteries every few weeks even though lock had only been used 1 or 2 times. Called today - sorry, warranty is only 3 years, too bad. 3 year warranty on electronics on a $200+ item???!! Piece of garbage did not last 4years!!
It will be replaced but NOT WITH ANOTHER SCHLAGE!!

Installed two of these. Looks good, works good, however, on two occasions the keypad mysteriously stopped working, on both locks, thereby locking me out. Cycling the lock from inside appeared to "clear" the problem. I will be reporting this to Schlage.
