The thing I liked most about this product is that I was able to install it in about 20 minutes (including removing the old lock mechanism). Everything fit like a glove, and the instructions were clear and easy to follow. I guess I should have read the description of the product a little more closely before I bought it, though. I thought that the deadbolt would open and close on its own once the four-digit code was entered. It doesn't. The code only makes the lock active. you have to turn the outside "knob" manually to open and close the deadbolt. Then, after a few seconds, the mechanism is no longer active and it's either open or closed. (The inside mechanism is always workable.)

We have one of these on our front door and it has been such a great lock! The best thing is they are so easy to program I can put a code in it in less than 1 minute easily, I have our front door master code memorized so I can put a code in it in less than 30 seconds! We got this second one because we rent a room in our basement and we have a separate entrance to the basement and we put this lock on that door, it gives you peace of mind knowing your not giving out keys and have to change locks instead you can erase and program new codes in a couple of minutes! It is also easy to install, it installs just like a regular lock the only extra thing is plugging a wire harness together and putting in a battery, which will last for years by the way and the light up blue keypad is great when it's dark plus it has 10 buttons which is great I know some locks combined numbers so they only have 5 buttons. Well we couldn't be happier with these locks and we are starting to change our rental units to these locks as well!

We are in the hospitality business and love having this to change the code as frequent as we like. Guests have found it easy to use. No idea how well they hold up over time but impressed so far with it.

This product is well made except for the internal locking knob. It fells a little like plastic. Other than that this lock is beefy, installs nicely and works well. The keypad is easy to use, and its easy to change combinations. Over all, I would recommend this lock

I had someone install this for me and the hole had to be enlarged, but, other than that the install went fast, the product is of a good quality and easy to use. I especially like the appearance on my green door. I can't comment on battery life as I only had for a month.

I replaced my existing Schlage deadbolt with this one so installation was a breeze. All you need is a Philips screw driver. Easy to follow directions. This is not a motorized deadbolt so the battery should last a lot longer also no motorized interior parts to break down. It has a backlit keypad. Came with a 9v Alkaline Battery. Setting the codes was easy to do. Stores up to 19 different codes. Came with 2 keys in case you forget your entry code or the battery dies. After you leave just push the top button and turn the dial towards the door jamb to lock the door. You will need your code or key to re-enter.

Used this on our lake home and this will allow our grown children to not have to use a key.

was a very easy install, i actually already had a deadbolt in, i just replaced it with the Schlage keypad deadbolt, i love it...works beautifully

The keypad deadbolt fits our need perfectly, it is easy to install, have it on three different doors with one common code with no keys to lose. it's design is appealing, operational to all family members, young and all. Ordered the unit and received it two days later. Satisfied plus with this product.

This was the easiest deadbolt I've ever installed. If you have a screwdriver and your door is already cut for the deadbolt or you're just replacing you can do this. I do wish it sat a little more flush against the door (see picture) which might be our old door's fault and not the unit. Though it isn't far enough away for me to drop a star. App only lets me add one photo.

We purchased 2 of these, between two outside doors. One goes to workshop from home garage. It's awesome to not need the key to lock and unlock as we are constantly going in and out of these two doors. They were easy to install, easy to program. The dead bolt knob free-spins, until you set it to lock or unlock. Of course, you have to know the code to unlock. Workshop is a new building, so we can give contractors the deadbolt code and we will change it later when all work is completed! Great purchase. Very strong and reliable. I would highly recommend this keypad deadbolt. Looks great too.

It was easy to install. Manual was very helpful. Look Great. Don't have to carry key around.

I love this addition to my new front door. Using the code is so much easier than fumbling for keys. My car has keyless ignition so my keys are often not readily available. By the time I get to the front door I often have to drop everything to search for keys. The instructions are clear and each family member has their own code. It did not include the correct plate for the jam and I am still trying to locate that part. I do plan on purchasing another for the garage.

The lock looks great and functions just as well. Easy to program, and no more messing with keys. Easy to lock and unlock w/ the keypad. Highly recommend this lock!

I bought 3 different door locks before I purchased this one. The color is nice, the connection stays on 24/7 with no issue, however there are a few issues with the homekit app sometimes that it won't open the door or show online. I do suggest when you first set this up you need a homepod or homepod mini with a mesh system, it won't connect to the apple home app with the apple tv alone. I really like this and the home card on my watch and phone work great.

We bought this for our vacation home to easily give access to family and friends. Unfortunately, the battery life is horrible. We had the first set of batteries last less than a month. I put new batteries in three days ago and they're already down to 92%.

I wanted a smart deadbolt, so after weeks of research I decided to get the U-Tech wifi one. It worked for a while, but then kept trying to lock when it was already locked, and then one day I tried to walk into my house and the thing was just dead. No light up, no sound, dead. Had to get it drilled. I threw that garbage away and after some more research decided to try this one, which I almost bought in the first place. I LOVE this one! Works great, app is great, and I highly recommend it!

Worked fine for just over a year… After which it somehow got moisture inside and the keypad stopped working. It was used under a covered porch with 5 plus feet of coverage. I’ve tried for a month to get ahold of someone from the company to get a replacement under its warranty but I either wait on hold for hours or never hear back from the site. Do Not Recommend.

1. Expect battery life of one month or less. Gone longer? Expect it to be dead when you return. 2. Frequently disconnects from WiFi (and is the only device to do so.) 3. Completely dead after one year. Absolutely not recommended.
