Applied under ideal conditions with temperatures in low 70s and no rain for 48 hours. After 10 days the only change was that it changed the algae on the vinyl siding from green to gray. Tried using a garden hose to wash off debris to no effect. Thought by using an electric power washer would do the trick but it too was ineffective from a time standpoint. This product definitely does not live up to manufacturers claims.

I used this product last week and it did nothing. I'm going to try it one more time as I have a little less than a half of bottle left. Will see if I have any better luck.

Usually when I see a product that says 'no scrub' or 'scrub free', etc. I tend to sort of scoff because over the years in my experience, most of those claims are false. The fact that this House & Siding cleaner w/zero scrub technology, comes to me from Scotts, is the only reason I had faith before using. I had to wait to use this because wanted to get house clean before painting and finally the time came. I don't have extremely heavy mold etc., But rather light over entire house. This product performed amazingly. Highly exceeding all of my expectations. Actually made the whole process so much less daunting. Very easy to use, well written and clear directions, and the end product more than speaks for itself. Such a great must have product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Tried this product on a very dirty/in-need-of-a-good-scrub area on my daughter's 100 year old home. Only used a single application here and after three days you can definitely see the difference, especially with the green-molded areas -- on both the siding and painted concrete surfaces. With the older, brown areas -- not so good yet but still a noticeable improvement. Easy to apply and will treat the rest of their siding next week, with the same expected results.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Scott's Outdoor Cleaner House and Siding with Zero Scrub Technology and I'm so glad to be an recepiant of this product. I used it to remove the tough mildew build up on my brick stairs. When I applied the product I let it sit for few minutes just to test it. But to my surprise, the mole had dissolved. This product is great. It works on various outside areas of the home. The product can be applied to vinyl, aluminum, brick,stone, and roofing. It removes all tough build in stains. This product is wonderful. I will definitely recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice product but to remove heavy mildew you are still going to have to scrub. The dirt washed off but the mildew still needed some persuasion to get it off. At least I didn’t have to use my power washer but I probably would next time. For light stuff this may require no scrubbing but for heavy mildew break out the broom.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've really been trying to clean up my house and looking for a product that would do the trick in the outside. I'm glad I came across this product because just a few squirts can really clean up the siding on your house. I do tend the scrub sometimes even though the says not to, but I just want a better job done that way I don't have to come back and do it later on.

I would rate this less than one star. I was excited to try this as an easier way to clean and maintain our vinyl siding. I used the product exactly as directed and the results were terrible. The house actually looked worse on day 2 and 3 then when I started. I will revert back to the powerwasher and a brush as that produced a good result. I will be returning the unopened/unused product.

Every spring I clean this siding. I stand on a 6-foot ladder for extra reach. I could only reach the top of the 2nd story window while on a ladder. I used the entire bottle on this side with no visual evidence of algae cleaning. And no rinse per the instructions.Going back to my usual product which does remove most algae.and I do have to use a long handle for the stubborn areas. and the rinse also helps.with the final cleaning.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This cleaner works great for the green mossy stuff that gets on my house. My area has had a lot of rain and I have trees that shade one side of my house. It never gets sun so a LOT and I mean a LOT of green stuff gets on my siding. I watch the weather to make sure there are 3-4 days without rain. I spray this solution on the siding and wait. By the second day, I can see it working. By the fourth day, it's gone!

It did the job. I did use a brush since the sheds were pretty grimed up with little black spots and green mold

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our house had not been cleaned in years. The north side has trees , so we had a lot of mold or fungi growing. We used the cleaner , it solved our problem. A simple solution to a Routine problem. I will use this every year.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I sprayed this product on the side of my house where the siding was turning green. It says to just spray and walk away. Well I did. After a couple of hours I took a look at it and it took away the green but you could see on the siding where the green was. It was like it killled the algae but didn’t clean the siding.

I followed every precaution and this product is awful!!! Did not clean, killed all the grass that it came in contact with even if we watered downed before. What a waste of money now just made more work and heartache for me.

MY YES IS WEAK AT BEST. I SAY THIS BECAUSE THIS PRODUCT IS NOT A BE ALL END ALL CLEANER. IT DOES WORK BUT IN MY OPINION YOU STILL NEED TO SCRUB SOME AND POWER WASH SOME. IT GETS THE LIGHT WEIGHT STUFF BUT HEAVIER MOLD AND MILDEW REQUIRES MULTIPLE APPLICATIONS AND STILL NEEDED POWER WASHING. I WOULD SAY THIS PRODUCT WORKS BEST ON NEWER PRODUCTS WITH BEGINNINGS OF MOLD AND MILDEW ISSUES. OLDER PRODUCTS WITH HEAVIER ISSUES OF MOLD AND MILDEW, NOT SO MUCH. THE NICE THING IS SCOTT'S GUARANTEES THE PURCHASE SO IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT'S PERFORMANCE YOU CAN RETURN IT. THAT SAYS A LOT ABOUT SCOTT'S AND HOME DEPOT.

The bottle is a good size easy to hook up to my water hose and easy to use. Make sure you read the directions before using this product. Also if you have never cleaned your siding before do not expect instant brand new wood looking tile. This will take several applications before or you can see a 100% improvement. You may want to get more than one bottle if you are trying to use this on your entire home. It has an OK smell. Do not get this stuff in your eyes. Again read the instructions before using. Are use this product on a small portion of my home and I like the outcome however my towel was it bad to begin with I had power washed my towel a few months ago but I can see in improvement.

DISAPPOINTING — The Scott’s 32 oz. Outdoor Cleaner House and Siding with ZeroScrub Technology Ready to Spray did not remove any noticeable amount of mildew from the siding of our house. See before and after 24 hours photos. The spray has no instructions. It says on the label “to spray and walk away.” However, the container has a rinse setting. The spray reached the second floor but the rinse spray did not. I waited an hour and then rinsed. So basically, the upper floor was not rinsed but the lower floor was. It took about the entire container to do one side of a two-story house. Even after three days, there was no noticeable change in the mildew. Just to be sure the mildew could be removed, I tried another product which required scrubbing and it worked fine.

Needed a product to eliminate mold and mildew from a covered patio ceiling. The ceiling was made of a wood siding. I tried power washing but it started to remove the paint. This product attaches to a standard garden hose and the container is also a sprayer. The spray easily reached the high ceiling. I followed the directions and allowed it to air dry after application. The results were good after a few hours and better after 24+ hours. Product works on stucco, brick, wood, concrete, stone and vinyl. I was pleased with the results and avoided a lot of extra work trying to scrub a ceiling. Built in sprayer has a rinse setting so you can rinse any product that may have contacted plants or other undesirable areas. This would be a great product for siding and decks as well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have an area that is in the shade all along a fence. The moss builds up over the year is a lot. With just a single use and within a few days I found that the moss was dying and new grass was starting to come back. Love this stuff

I bought this 10/10 and followed instructions. It did not get the mildew/ mold off.

Doesn’t work. Says you don’t need to scrub. You still need any dirt or mildew or mold on your house.

This left a film on my siding that I had to rinse for a few days. I used this on one side of my house and windex outdoor on the other. Windex was so much better

Waiting to see whether the green mold disappears from my wooden siding. The bottle/dispenser supplied is absolute garbage. The whole sprayer assembly broke and blew apart before I could even begin spraying the house. I had to decant the cleaner into another generic hose sprayer that I also use for gardening.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used this to start seeds for both vegetables and flowers. It is so convenient to have this type of mixture. It provided a great start for seeds. Then transferred to outdoors. It developed good root growth of plants.

I bought this product and used it twice. It didn't work like you said it would. This product is junk. Don't waste your money.

As a former Buckeye, I'm a true Scotts loyalist but this discharge control is the lamest example of safe, ever experienced as the mixture sprays all over, user included. 2nd floor reach, is a reach. Without a rinse cycle, a dirty film left behind.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had some pretty unsightly green algae on the north facing side of my house. The siding is white which exacerbated matters considerably. Much of it was out of my reach, so physically getting to it was an issue. Fortunately the spray from the bottle was powerful enough to reach to the first floor level, easily soaking the affected areas. It is important to follow instructions & wear protective gear, especially gloves & eye protection from splashes. I didn't have any problems with this. Rinsing any shrubs or other plants that come into contact with the product is also advised. I did this & saw no adverse effects on any nearby foliage. The algae completely disappeared after a couple of days and has not returned over a year later. This is a pleasant surprise as I had expected to make further applications later in the summer. As long as you follow instructions, this seems to be a highly effective, safe remedy for persistent unsightly algae on siding & fences.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an excellent product on outdoor vinyl furniture. It cleans without leaving smears and streaks. I plan to use it on concrete this fall when the weather permits. I like the no scrub in as much as I am a senior with limited scrubbing ability.
