Paying more for a 32lb bag of this stuff than I used to for a 50lb bag. If this continues I will find other ways to take care of my lawn.

Makes my lawn look great and healthy. Gets rid of weeds, and feeds my lawn all winter. I use less water and my yard is lush and cushion like all year.

EXTRA EXTRA .........Shrinkflation hits Scotts!!!
I will no longer be using your product if you don't change the size of the bags back. It isn't about the pricing as I am willing to pay more, and watch for sales. Its about sizing and am not going to be buying multiple bags just to go to waste. You do not offer resealable bags so anything that isn't used pretty much goes to waste as its one giant clump the next year. I rather pay more for a different brand and not waste product. Yet another company trying to dup its customers by making them pay more for less.

Can’t go wrong with Scott’s turf products. I’ve been using them for decades as well as custom regional lawn products and Scott’s is every bit as good. Don’t overlook the importance of using a winterizer especially on cool season fescue and blue grasses.

I find it insulting that Scotts has changed the size of their fertilizer products. My yard hasn't shrunk by 1000 square feet over the past year. For the company to raise their prices AND reduce the amount of their product is despicable.

What a rip off. Got it home and found out it was 4000 Sq ft . What happened to 5000? Isn't Scott's making enough money?

Winterguard went on well and has since produced a wonderful growth spurt for my back lawn. I put it on after a soaking rain. Seems to work as was advertised.

The most common reason a lawn does not respond to fertilizer is soil pH. Soil pH must be in-between 5.5-7.5 for fertilizer to be absorbed by the grass. Perform a soil pH test. Thatch over 1/2" thick prevents the nutrients from getting to the plant roots. Grass may be under stress from disease or insect activity. If the lawn isn't receiving at least an inch of water per week, then the lawn will not green up as fast.
