Outstanding product. Some individuals - in using the facility - may (for whatever reason) lean back and place undue pressure in the tank. These will prevent the tank from being pushed toward the back wall, and therefore reduce stress on the bolts which attach the tank to the bowl. A nice safety product - some "insurance" - against the possibility of water damage in the event of an accident.

Great idea!
This is one of those items you'll wish you thought of. It eliminates the wobble of the tank or the need to jam wood behind the tank.

Very simple and effective device
This will save you from replacing your toilet-to-tank gasket - and the time to fix all that, if you find that people lean into your toilet tank or you just have an unstable toilet tank. Most people don't lean back, but lean forward while on the toilet, but still this brace has utility if you have it unbalanced in the first place and set a bunch of stuff on the toilet tank to make it worse. It is also a preventative device should any unexpected pressure come to the toilet tank. It is a simple concept, a bit pricey for what materials it is composed of, but can save you a huge hassle.

A really great idea!!!
This is a product I could have used for years as I have had two toilets destroyed by people who used the tank as a back rest. This is an invention whose time has come. The instructions are very easy to follow and understand also there are pictures for people who are visual. The installation is so easy and simple. This is such a small investment to protect your house from the water damage from a broken toilet.

Simple install but be careful cutting them.
I have a weird spacing behind the toilets in my house so I wanted to brace the tanks for my own peace of mind. I just eyeballed the gap using the brace and cut to length. I did run into a problem with one of the braces cracking when I cut it with my shop shears, I made small cuts on each of the three sides but one on them shattered giving me a bit less support for that brace. Maybe cut with a saw? I have cut many types of plastic with these shears but not sure what went wrong. The tank no longer moves when I press against it so the brace is working. Just make sure to line up with the gaps in the tank lid when you put them on.

Solves a Common Problem
Sometimes you end up with a toilet tank that stands too far off the wall. Not a problem until your lean back against the tank; do that enough times and, even if it's only a 1" gap, if you keep on bending the tank back against the wall, you're asking for trouble. These braces prevent the tank from leaning back. Each brace [four to a pack] consists of two pieces; the one that will rest against the wall is cut to size and the other is the 'end cap' that clips over the back of the tank. The brace can be cut to span from 1/2 to 4". The brace allows for 7/8" tank cover overhang. Use two per tank [left and right sides] for a stable install.

Excellant Product
This sure worked for me. I have a second floor water closet that sits just a little too far from the back wall and I had to be careful not to lean back against the tank unless I wanted to flex the connection to the base, start a leak, and get to replace the unit again. I had a mail order catalog folded over a couple of times and stuffed between the wall and the lid as a make shift repair until I could figure out what to do. The product comes with extender tabs you insert and cut to fit if your unit sits several inches from the wall but I just needed the base tab that clips on the edge of the tank under the lid., filled the gap perfectly. The only drawback is the lid no longer lips over the back but the back edge sits on the tabs. It looks okay and is not an uncommon situation since on a lot of units the tank is too close to the wall to allow the lipping over.

Worked great!
Very simple idea that works. We used these on a number of commodes in our building and they did a great job of stabilizing the tanks. Only been in place a few weeks, but they look to be a long term solution.

Best thing since sliced bread !
This is a awesome product ! I have used a few so far in customers homes with toilet leaking issues. Every one uses a rest room differently , and a toilet has many different connections and the key to a leak free toilet is sturdy, no wobble or tilting. Any gap from the wall to back of toilet gives room for stress cracks to tanks breaking, ballcock will stay on letting water to continue to run all over until one shuts off the valve, to me that is ALOT of water damage fast ! This secure a tank does its job with no hassle ! It should come with every new two piece toilets ever sold I think!

No more water damage fear
We used tin shears to cut the plastic to size. It took minutes to install all 4. They should stock these in the store. No more shattered tanks or flooded bathrooms.

Good simple solution
This is a few pieces of plastic that keep the tank from moving towards the wall. Cut one piece to size and it slips into the other to create a spacer that hangs off the back top of the tank. You use one set on right and one on left and then put your tank cover back on. Very simple but does the job.

My wobbly, leaky toilet is finally fixed!
I bought this product to fix a wobbly toilet tank in my apartment that started leaking. My maintenance guys came over numerous times to tighten the bolts on the bottom of the tank, but the rocking tank just seemed to keep loosening the bolts which caused the tank to start dripping again. I don’t know why they don’t just make the toilets so that they fit snug against the wall so this isn’t an issue, but I am glad I bought this product to fix the problem. The Secure-A-Tank was easy to install and immediately stopped my tank from wobbling. I am glad that I won’t have to deal with this issue again. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who has an open space between the toilet and wall. This product was a cheap preventative option that gave me peace of mind knowing that I won’t have to deal with this problem again.

Great product quick and easy to install.
I purchased this product because I was having a problem with a leaking 2 piece toilet. Apparently my tenant was spending too much time sitting and reclining in the bathroom over time the tank shifted and leaked. This product gave the tan enough k support and solve my problem.

      It really works!!!
I needed this support for two toilets. One installation had to be cut to size, the second fit perfectly as it came. Took just a few minutes- and no more rocking toilet!
