I like that it is safe to use in the garden. Worked well enough, but didnt kill potato bugs. I would buy again, but will have to find something else for the potato bugs. Only downside was that I had to use several hoses to reach my garden, but that's on me. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I planted a rare breed of black/purple sunflowers and could not wait for them to bloom. Of course the bugs start eat the blooms before they opened. I just got a free sample from buzzagent of Sevin and read the directions and found them very easy to follow simply hook it up to the hose and spray. It took only a day and the bugs were gone! My beautiful blooms opened and my flowers were saved. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I only used the product once so far. It seems like it worked ok. I have a freshly planted veggie garden. So it's hard to tell how effective it is this early on. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
When COVID-19 hit and I started working from home, I decided it would be the perfect opportunity to revitalize our garden. In went veggies and herbs. Berries were mulched. And then nature took its course. Blackberries, tomatoes, cucumbers, zucchini all started to grow ... and then the insects found them! I started noticing little holes on the leaves and found tiny bugs of some sort, trying to ruin my garden. My BzzKit couldn't have come at a more perfect time! And it was so easy to use. I love how easy it is to just hook the bottle up to the hose. No need to measure and mix - the bottle does it for you! I sprayed the garden and nearby bushes and started to see less insects right away. The bottle covers up to 2,000 square feet and our garden isn't that big, so I sprayed the surrounding bushes and plants as well, and I still have leftover for another time. I read all of the label/booklet attached to the bottle and it's amazing the number of bugs and insects this Seven product kills. I was hoping to see mosquitoes listed, too, but alas, they were not. The types of plants it protects was also perfect - everything I had planted was included in the list. I would probably give this 4.5 stars instead of just 4 but I'm not able to do so (can't click half a star). Overall I was very pleased with how easy it was to use and the vast array of insects it takes care of. It's a great all in one type product. I have used the Seven dust a lot in the past, but the liquid version is nice because it's not visible to the eye. Thanks for the opportunity to try this product! The Garden Tech Sevin dust ready to spray insect killer is great not only for your garden but your lawn. We're in the country so we deal with ticks, chiggers in the yard but also worms, beetles and other Nuisance insects. You simply hook the bottle up to the garden hose and spray. It was so easy to cover our yard and our tomato plants. It really made a big difference and got rid of those pesky insects [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I have used Sevin years ago with no issue. This time, I must have had a defective sprayer. First I was unable to rotate the yellow tip to get more range without the tip breaking off. After replacing the tip, setting it to the long range setting, and spraying for a few minutes, I look at the sprayer and it looks completely swollen! The red bottle looked deformed as if it was going to pop from the pressure of a garden hose. I've used Sevin and products like it, but never saw anything like this. After shutting the water off, I removed the cap to discharge extra pressure. The bottle was full to overflowing with Sevin solution. I wonder if any product actually got in my trees. This was after about 10 minutes of use. Hopefully this is just a defective sprayer, and not the norm because I would not want to use a product that behaves like this normally. I can't recommend this product based on my experience.
We have a quaint little garden, with summer squash, peas, corn, tomatoes, coolapeno's, bell peppers, butternut squash, jalepeno's and some herbs. We were being bombarded by catapillars, some large, some extra large and some tiny. We used this Sevin spray and they began dropping of our plants immediately. There were also a few different species and they all reacted to this spray. Literally saved our entire garden [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
