I have owned several Sharks and liked each one but with that being said, the Shark APEX DuoClean Speed Powered Lift-Away Bagless Upright Vacuum is by far, the best one yet.

This vacuum is amazing! The versatility is very helpful and the suction is phenomenal. It turns out my house is actually really dirty and I had no idea.

Does and excellent job on all surfaces plus great on furniture.

Lots of suction power. Works great on all surfaces, furniture, carpets and bare floors.

Dog hair still had to be cut from rollers-otherwise did the job.

So far so great. Pros: Everything I wanted as far as power, efficiency, easy of handling, portability, durability. And finding it on sale for $199 made it an excellent value. The under-table/chair tool is nice for dust, and while it won't suck down dog hair, it does a good job collecting it on the attachment so you can easily lift it off. Cons: Brush quickly gets full of pet hair, although that doesn't seem to hurt power or efficiency that much. And the ready view and quick/easy access to bar/brush make is relatively easy to cut hair out. (Would have loved the self-cleaning brush model, but it is not worth how much that increased the price). Cleaning swath could be wider, but that would affect how wonderfully-easy this is for me to maneuver. Collection bin could be larger, but that would affect how light and compact the detachable unit is to carry around on such as steps. Besides, the more often you empty the bin on any vacuum, the more likely you are to get consistently full suction. And dumping the bin is quick/easy/clean. Worries: Have not had any trouble with the belt that drives the brush/bar, but it I do, I'm gonna be really peeved, since the manufacturer tells me nobody makes a replacement and they don't offer one if the belt wears out. But they would be happy to sell me a replacement for the entire brush assembly unit (at an exorbitant price, of course). Full disclosure: Used the product 14 months now. I have arthritis in my hands and shoulders plus a bad back, so I need something light and easy to move. I also have a golden retriever and thus have often thought it might be easier to rake or even open the patio doors and use a my garden blower to get out all the hair

This is an excellent product. Suction, performance and utility wise. The only reason I do not give it a full 5 Stars is because it would be complete with a retractable cord. As is, without the retractable cord, the cord gets in the way and makes it a little awkward to use all the features. Other than this I highly recommend it and it is indeed a great product.

Cleans hard surface extremely well as well as small area rugs. Easy to handle for a senior citizen

Great vacuum! Very powerful! I would give it 5 stars if it were not for one thing I am very disappointed with. When the nozzle of the vacuum is unattached to get something the head can’t reach the light goes off and it makes it very hard to see what you are trying to vacuum up.

Light weight enough, good suction, excellent design (component use, assembly/disassembly), extremely maneuverable, feels solidly built. Only drawback is small chamber but it is worth all the other great aspects.
