I have been a fan of Shark products, I have a Shark Navigator Lift away Vacuum cleaner for more than 4 years and still running solid. We decided to have a robot vacuum to the family as we have a new born its harder to do all house chores. Coming to Shark IQ Robot is definitely a SMART robot, it is a flawless product we kept the base dock in center living room was able to clean our living, kitchen and hall way in an hour. It follows a straight line patterns so that it cleans efficiently without any misses of dust and debris. The self emptying base is great option vacuum empties all the dust in there itself, the container then can be emptied in the trash with a click of a button. Once it gets full, it will go back to the base dock to empty itself, but then it gets right back where it left which is cool. It mapped my house pretty close in ints first run which is impressive, one can creat a NO GO zone by putting the strips provided with the vacuum which is good to avoid stairs to the basement. It cleaned under my Couches, Beds and other furnitures where hard to reach places very well. If the base is full, it notifies to empty the base. It glides effortlessly from hardwood, to carpet, to tile(bathrooms) I have all three in my home and it works on them all. The brush roller is designed so that it doesn't get clogged with hairs. It has 3 levels of Strength one can choose based on your needs, we put them in normal for daily usages and max clean when we have a house party. You get alert notifications from the app, you can schedule times for it to clean, you can choose which rooms to clean as well which is AWSOME!! CONS: Need Improvements in SHARK App chrashes multple times. IQ Robot is bit louder in noise

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this vacuum! It's like the child I never had. It vacuums for me, empties the vacuum and does this without me asking. I have run through vacuuming with this 10 times, so it can start to map out my home. It vacuums row by row, and does a good job cleaning. It knows where it has cleaned already and doesn't redo an area unless I want it to. We have pets and it was able to pick up the pet dander no problem.

It mapped my house out fast . Omg it cleans so good . And he is now my best friend . Heaven send . Love the iQ this little guy has

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I do have a older model of vacuum so when we moved to a new home with a toddler I needed a new one. This Shark IQ Robot is the best product I have used so far. We just need to charge it for 6hr once we open the package and do need to download app and complete some settings according to our preference. Believe me it’s pretty simple to do that. I have two kids and always busy with them and this product is a blessing for me because I can manage it with my phone. The setting gives you choices according to your requirements. When I arrange play for kids during that day I adjusted the setting for how long it need to clean with so many settings you can choose from. I am soooo happy with this Product. The best part of this product is it self empty itself and knows when to charge itself. Technology has improved so much now a days and it make me wonder how our life became simple with product like this. It does a good job. I am happy with this product. It gives me so much relaxing time for myself. I highly recommend this product for its quality and it’s performances.

With the latest technology, it has so many features that you have absolutely no excuse to not have a clean floor anymore! Upon opening the package there is a mat for the vacuum and the dispenser to sit on as well as the vaccine itself, the vacuum dispenser has a plug that plugs into it. I immediately downloaded the sharkclean app on my phone, which along with the QuickStart guide help walk you through creating an account, linking your shark vacuum with your WiFi. From the app you can schedule your cleanings, morning, afternoon and evening and the days and times. The first time you run the vacuum it does a partial outline of your house. It took a few times to really do a full map of the house and where not to vacuum. The vacuum comes with a small roll of boundary tape which you can use to tape off certain areas of your house. If you have a large home it won’t go far but use it wisely especially when cutting it. Half of my main floor is carpet and half is laminate. I found the vacuum worked extremely well on the laminate more than I thought it would. This vacuum is one of the best vacuum’s I have ever owned. If you are a technology person like me I would definitely recommend it. If you hate vacuuming, I would definitely recommend this. Also if you have animals this is definitely a plus. The dispenser /emptying container is very easy to clean and empty and from what its vacuumed up in a weeks time, you wouldn’t have to empty for several weeks. What a great piece of technology!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s my first time to own something from Shark and this Shark IQ Robot really exceeded my expectations. It has great concept, design and performance. I was so amazed looking at the robot cleaning the carpet row by row and it turns 45 degrees angle whenever it bumps into something and then moves 2 steps forward and continue cleaning (by row). Sometimes it gets confused and it turns and turns to look for a new area to clean as it tries to make a map of the house. It also senses everytime I turn it off and place it in a new room. I placed it inside our master’s bedroom from the guest room, at first it was turning and turning then moved a lil bit so I just left it for about an hour. When I came back, it was sitting right where I left it and to my surprise, it was able to clean the room row by row. The app was so easy to use and follow. It sends out notifications which is really great. This Shark IQ Robot appears to be of good quality. It has great construction and design but it has some weight. Initial charging should be 6 hours in order to reach its full potential. It has good suction and it makes my life easy! I’m super happy with my new Shark IQ Robot. I’m a very busy Mom with 2 boys and a baby so you can just imagine how busy I am. I highly recommend it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you've ever thought a robot vacuum isn't for yiu, you have to give this one a shot. It has none of the flaws and all of the benefits. It sets up in minutes, connects to your tablet or smartphone and you can easily control it through the app. The IQ Robot is the perfect name because this vacuum is very smart. It maps out your home, taking note of obstacles and furniture so it doesn't just move erratically. It goes in straight lines, side by side, until the entire room is cleaned with no missed spots. The app last you know what areas have been cleaned and you can tell it when and what areas you want cleaned with the scheduler. Once the room is clean, it returns to its docking station where the base vacuums out the robot. If the base is full, it notifies you so you just have to empty the base. It glides effortlessly from hardwood, to carpet, to tile. I have all three in my home and The IQ Robot works on them all. The brush roller is designed so that it doesn't get clogged with pet hair or other debris, but if it does, the robot notifies you by stating "please clean my brush roller" which is a feature I truly love! There's nothing worse than a clogged vacuum because you didn't realize there was a problem. This robot was designed with every possible issue in mind and Shark found a solution for them all. I absolutely LOVE my IQ Robot and can't imagine how I lived without one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had my Self-Emptying Shark IQ Robot R101AE, WiFi and Home Mapping since around the beginning of September and it has been an overall great experience. It is actually pretty simple to use straight out of the box and we charged it right away. You can name your Shark Robot Vac anything you want so you have your own addition to your home accept this one usually cleans up when you ask it to (Besides a few hiccups when it’s sensors got blocked on a rug or it got caught up on something, which was pretty rare.). It has three cleaning modes ranging from economy to maximum energy consumption which is great although we always use max because we are a household with multiple animals and it has managed to keep up with the hair of two dogs and a cat which I have been impressed by. Another thing I will say is that for the most part it finds its way around well. I was excited when it actually made its way under and around our counter stools and cleaned well when normally the would be neglected. There were a few times where it took a while for it to get back to its dock after cleaning for one reason or another but eventually it made it back and the self emptying began which is awesome in itself. 30 cleanings before having to empty anything is pretty amazing in my book! One thing I was a little nervous about was stairs. I did a test and it would get super close and it’s cliff sensors would turn it around but one time It was so close that if I wasn’t there I really think it might have accidentally went over due to weight which could equal a costly fix potentially. Maybe it wouldn’t have fell over but too close for comfort for me. Over all I am extremely happy. So far I have not been able to get it Alexa voice enabled but it seems like everyone is having that issue so I am still hopeful. I would definitely recommend the Shark IQ Robot to anyone who can fit it into their lives and budget.

It makes perfectly straight lines right from the start and the sensors work well, even at the edge of the stairs. It really excels on carpet. I thought it would get bound up as I have different carpet heights and a rug on top of that, but it cruised right along. Even the threshold from hard kitchen floor to carpet was no issue. The app is easy to use and you can schedule and start/dock it from anywhere at any time. Best part is the self-emptying base. It just sucks the debris right out, even in the middle of a cleaning. Then the vacuum will go back and pick up where it left off. The base is easy to empty too. Reminds me of a standard canister vacuum where you press the button and the bottom falls open and the dirt falls in the trash. It's made an annoying chore much simpler and does a way better job than I ever did!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] About a month ago I bought this Shark IQ Robot Vacuum with Self Cleaning Base when I was looking for a robotic systems that would assist me with cleaning my house when my arthritis started getting worse and sweeping and mopping caused me pain. I researched for a while and decided this was the best robotic vacuum for me! I bought it got and set it up the same day. I love that it vacuums and go back to its charging station and automatically empties all the dust in its reservoir which does not have to be emptied for 30 days, it also maps your house so that it knows how to exactly clean your house right. I love this product. The cat doesn't but oh well he can jump on the couch or a chair. Oh I almost forgot! You can also schedule a time everyday for it to clean everyday or you can manually turn it on when you want it to clean! You can also name your device! I name mine "Baby Shark"

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is absolutely amazing!!! It comes with everything you needed. The instructions are very clear and precise. So set up is a breeze. I love that i can control everything from my phone with just a touch of the button. There are adjustment that you are able to make so that is fits your unique cleaning needs. From how long it sweeps to how much suction you desire, and so much more! It is able to move from carpet to bare floor and back flawlessly. This sweeps very well. It follows a grid so it doesn't miss anything. It even empties itself!!! Between, 5 kids and a dog, sweeping is the last thing I want to worry about. This leaves me time to spend doing more important things. I come home to a beautiful sweep house, and the best apart it I DIDN'T have to do it.

It's got it's own self emptying base, and you can schedule cleanings so you virtually don't have to do a thing. This little robot has excellent suction, and with both dogs and a cat, the Shark IQ robot vacuums it up with ease. My dogs enjoyed following it around barking at it. I love that when it's battery gets low, it knows to go back to it's dock to charge, it also knows where it left off and continues to vacuum there. The app is easy to use, I love how you can control it, and it will give you notifications, if, for example, you need to dust off it's censors. I honestly do not know how I've lived without this robot vacuum. With the holidays fast approaching, this will take some of the stress away by self cleaning, and it makes an excellent gift.

It searches all on its own maps out your house knows where the walls and doors date etc. it has a tape where you can cut to fit any place you’d like to keep the vacuum away from. It reports back to its base to empty & truly does a good thorough cleaning job. I am so impressed by all the features on the vacuum its by far my most favorite, especially since I don’t have to do any work! Nice stylish design! Truly amazing at cleaning up dog hair so nicely you can see lines in the carpet like my photo! Very nice cleaning job this little robot does!

My husband had it charging for me as soon as it was delivered but I don't think there was any assembly really. I downloaded the app and got my product registered while it was charging. When I opened the app it showed me that my vacuum was on the base charging and what percentage it was charged too. Once it was fully charged I tapped the other button to run. This vacuum gets to places I usually only reach on deep cleaning days. This vacuum will go put it itself on the charger if the battery is low and dumps the dirt in the bin for you! The manual said the bin would hold 30 days of dirt but I have already dumped mine. However we have 3 adults, 2 kids, and 2 dogs in my household. Also I think the frequency of dumping will reduce as those hard to clean areas are getting cleaned more frequently. I have hardwood and carpet and this vacuum cleans each perfectly. I think my carpet may be cleaner than with my original dyson vacuum! I have rugs in certain rooms and my bigger heavier rugs are no problem for the vacuum to navigate over but I have one small light rug that the vacuum has gotten stuck on. Maybe I will get some of that backing to hold it in place. The app let me know it was stuck! There is a locator on the app to press to make the vacuum alert tone so you can find it or you can look on your app to see where the vacuum is in your house! In just a few days I have already gained an hour a day to spend with the ones I love thanks to the vacuum system! This is truly a set it and forget it system. Just think of all the hours you can have for more important things if you didn't have to sweep and vacuum anymore. Get this vacuum. You will not be disappointed.

The instructions were easy to follow, the app was easy to install/understand, and this vacuum works GREAT! You get alert notifications from the app, you can schedule times for it to clean, you can choose which rooms to clean, and you can even tell Alexa to send it out to clean! The self emptying base is great - vacuum empties all the dust in there itself, the container then can be emptied in the trash with a click of a button. This is so convenient. Among other advantages of the vacuum - easy to set up (less than 5 minutes to download the app and pair the vacuum), moves carefully and doesn’t bump into things hard, knows when to empty and charge the battery. A couple disadvantages though - does not clean as well on the carpet as it does on the hard surface (some dog hair left over), does take a long time to create a map of the house. I would definitely recommend using this vacuum to save time and keep hard floors clean.

It blew me away with the carpet lines too. They are amazing and straight! We keep our shark robot vacuum upstairs so this being self emptying is awesome. I couldn't believe all the dirt, dust and hair that it picked up. It goes under our bed with ease and fits right under our dresser and nightstands too. It's able to clean all 3 bedrooms upstairs before needing a charge.

Incredidble at taking care of its self. It empties its self when needed or when told to. It will dock itself and charge then go back to where it left off. It also has automatic scheduling options. Very simple to set up and clean up is just as simple. The brush self cleans and if needed will come right out when needed. This is a quality, well thought out product. We have 3 small dogs, 1 inside cat and children young and older and "Linda" as we have named her can handle all our hair and clean ups. 100% satisfied.

It makes a map of your house so it knows when to turn or avoid something. It also automatically empties itself. You just need to dump the box every once in a while. This thing even went under my bed (which we all know we do not vacuum as much as we should). I had no issues with it getting stuck anywhere or anything. The first couple times you use it, it is a little slower since it is mapping out your house and getting used to its surroundings. It picks up very well too. Once it gets full, it will go back to the base to empty itself, but then it gets right back out there. I would definitely recommend this! It is amazing!

This vacuum cleaner is the perfect helper for me! It is especially good that it cleans under the bed, under all dressers where a regular vacuum cleaner cannot reach! Works great. Have four shedding dogs and does a great job of picking up all the hair. Runs very quietly compared to previous robot vacuum. Well worth the money!
