I purged my old vacuum and bought this one after some research so that I could clean my new apartment and wow! I used it only on my new bedroom and closet (>156 sq ft) and it picked up so much! My bedroom looked clean but I’m really glad I decided to vacuum before settling into it because now I have better peace of mind. This vacuum had great suction, was easy to maneuver, and lightweight. It’s a reasonable price and performs wonderfully. This met my expectations and I’d definitely recommend!

I have a love-hate relationship with this vacuum. I love the lines it makes in the carpet, I love that it's lightweight and easy to maneuver, and I love that it gets under the edges of furniture and counters. I hate that I have to empty the dust cup so often, I wish it had a longer cord and I hate that it didnt come with the wand extension. It's a separate purchase. I recommend this if you have a smaller home.

Only used is one time and I don't know much about vacuums beside that they pick up dirt, so take my review with a grain of salt. My wife loves it and can easily move it across our floors, so I'm a fan. Pros: looks better in person, super easy to assemble, long cord, quiet while running, seems to glide across the floor, good suction Cons: doesn't work work that great of shag carpet, I'm guessing that this vacuum is not for thick carpeting (my carpet is not very plush so it works pretty god on it)

There are better Shark options that are more lightweight when the bagless canister detaches for use to dust, or to vacuum stairs. Even though this one is considered lightweight, it is unwieldy for those two uses. Another negative is the brush roll for carpet that picks up hair and winds that hair around and around the brush roll - it will need continuous cleaning. I’m going to find a newer Shark that has rotating fins for the carpet - hair doesn’t wind around those.

The worst vacuum I’ve ever owned, and the most expensive. This vacuum is awful; -dust and hair are about all it will pick up, don’t try to vacuum any small pieces of paper or any other messes your kids make. -the compartment is small so you’re constantly emptying it -the tools do not attach to the hose so I’m not even sure why they come with it. -the vacuum will take any chance it gets to spit everything back out, carrying downstairs? Expect it to drop everything out you just vacuumed. Accidentally go on tile? Expect it to spit everything out. I purchased this vacuum 3 months ago and I wish I would’ve returned it immediately. I have owned plenty of $50-$60 bissel vacuums that didn’t suck nearly this much. I’m guessing it has good reviews because they were all given as part of a promotion.

I bought that vacuum cleaner and it only lasted 2 years, and I only used it once a week. It went out and stopped working.

There was no way to adjust the height of the brush bar. We have a high cut nap on our carpet and this vacuum pulled out several strands. Took it back.

This vacuum is easy to handle and does a great job. Cost is reasonable also.

this is second one of these i have purchased, i love it..first one is still operational but needs a new hose after 5 or 6 years of heavy use. It is light and easily carried anywhere..The only reason I only gave it 4 stars is that it is rather awkward using the wand with the way the handle is curved and the wand reach is a little short.. I LOVE this vacuum!

It died. The motor just stopped

I've had this for 3 months. Honestly, it's the best vacuum I have ever owned. I had a Dirt Devil prior to this. I thought the Dirt Devil(needed bags) was doing the job. Emmmmm..... it WAS NOT! I have 3 cats and I use the Shark twice a week. I have a 750sq ft carpeted condo and I empty the canister 2-3 times per session. I see a lot of complaints about the small canister, but I would rather have to empty frequently as that only increases your suction power. Also, I rinse out the filter after every use. It is medium in weight and is very versatile, not bulky at all. I highly recommend this vacuum.

I pushed the power button and thought the darn thing was going to suck the carpet right off of the padding!! I love this vacuum!!!!
