Worked great in installing my water heater! Saved me hundreds if not thousands of dollars in replumbing cost.

Not to be use on old lines. Once installed if it has a leakage is impossible to take out.

Every shark bite product I’ve used is awesome and super easy.

SharkBite fittings works great! Only 1 problem if your Copper Pipe or PEX has a deep scratch or any imperfections they will not seal! I used them to install a water heater just cut and push in. I had 1 elbow that was dripping a drop every 2 to 5 seconds everything else was fine. Took that section apart and there was a scratch on the PEX pipe just big enough to feel when running a finger over it. Cut a new piece of PEX and put it in, no more leak. Sweating copper pipe will seal up almost anything but SharkBite fittings need perfect pipe at the connections. I will use them again but will inspect my pipe very close.

SharkBites are amazing. I’m astounded at how well they work since they are so easy to use.

Take all the guess work out of plumbing. Push the pipe in turn on water. Check for leaks, there never are any. patch wall and forget.

So quick and easy. I’ve installed many of these and never had any issues them.

Gets the job done

Shark bites are very easy to use. I like using them because you can take them apart if you make a mistake or if you need to adjust them. I like shark bites a lot.

Sharkbit fittings are the best. Cut off the old copper tubing, sand the end. Push on shark bite connect your new water tube and complete.

Required a reconfiguration of washer faucet in my basement and the shark bite connection worked like a charm. The water line is attached to a joist and applying heat to remove/replace the connection would have been very difficult. I have researched the use of shark bite connections and the majority of results indicate they hold up well over time and since the connection is exposed there would be minimal problems if a leak did result. There is not universal approval for connections inside a wall but I believe if you install them properly (inserting the pipe a full one inch into the connection and anchor the pipe) there would be no more potential danger than sweating on a connection.

Simple to install but the cut needs to be free of burrs
