Easy installation, perfect for my water heater thermal expansion tank.

Only had it in a week but everything seemed to work okay. I suggest adequate support of pipe in close proximity to this fitting. Directions were good.

Easy to use and quick install

I recently added an expansion tank to an existing hot water heater. The piping was 3/4" copper which was already in service and soldering in those conditions has often been exasperating to me as it is tough for me to really dry out the pipe as water always seems to keep draining from the building. I have often used SharkBite products with great success, so I decided to try this one. I cut out a 2" section of pipe and this fitting inserted easily after a bit of trouble at the start. I got the part onto the slip side without difficulty, but then had trouble moving it back to the other side. The old pipe was a bit dirty, so I thought maybe that was the cause of the problem and was sorry I hadn't cleaned the outside of the pipe. Turns out that I didn't really have the two sides aligned perfectly which prevented the fitting from sliding back. Once I figured out my error and got the pipes really aligned, the fitting slipped back very easily. I'm very satisfied with the ultimate result, and, even with my screw up, I installed this fitting in much less time than it would have taken for me to use a soldered fitting.

This fitting worked excellent, super easy to retrofit a expansion tank. I have used several Sharkbite push-to-connect fittings before, all of them worked flawlessly. Major time saver and very easy to use.

i love shark bite plumbing connectors. this had some adjustment you can take advantage of when fitting in an existing line, very handy.

The tee was very easy to install. Just needed to cut out a 2 inch piece of pipe and remove a support bracket so I could bend out the pipe to slip the tee on.

I needed to tap into an existing line to add a branch and this allowed me to do it easily.

the slip tee performed as advertised very easy to install durable design overall i would recommend this product to anyone

3/4" copper water pipe tee leaking in ceiling between floors. Could not access to re-solder. Cut out tee and replaced with the this slip tee and two slip unions and short length of copper pipe. Very satisfied with the results.
