Very disappointed with this purchase. Read the reviews and thought the flooring was a good choice for our basement. It's been two years and the most of the floor has started lifting due to moisture underneath. Also purchased the adhesive that was automatically recommended at online check out and it was suggested it may have been the wrong. Called multiple times-trying to get this issue resolved but no luck as of yet.

We were directed to this flooring by the Home Depot flooring department after we had purchased our plank flooring. The original employee sold us flooring that could not be used with a wheelchair even after the long discussion of the requirements. The installer recognized that the flooring we purchased would not work for our needs so we ordered this vinyl plank. A leveler was put on the floor along with the glue and these vinyl planks. The vinyl lifted in transit areas and did not stay down in areas that were not even walked on. The floor was filled with ridges, depressions and bumps so we had to have the installers fix their botched job. The plan presented by Home Depot and the installer was that the original botched mess would be covered with tar paper, plywood, leveler, glue and then the vinyl. After seven months we finally got the floor reinstalled and they did all of these layers only to be left with a floor of waves. This product is very thin and does not come close to the expected outcome we were given. Attached are pictures from the first and second installation. We do not recommend this product.

these floor is very thin may sure your floor are flat and leveled. Had hard time starting putting the floors down but I think that it was because we weren't sure how much glue to use. Cutting the floors we used a big floor cutting tool if you do it by hand the back pad is very hard to cut. Overall floor look great my son thought is was real wood and it does.

Was skeptical of the glue down product and the Home Depot salesman insisted they didn't carry any glue for a luxury vinyl plank because 'they're made to float'. I got the right glue myself after looking at the Home Depot app. The boxes were falling apart and the had boxes around the originals that were also falling apart (used ship to store and picked up there). The planks themselves look really good and were easy to lay (i did rent the 100lb vinyl roller to be safe- also cheap). Very satisfied!

Looks great! Easily affordable, easy to install, easy to clean and looks great. My living room looks so much better with this flooring than it ever did with carpet. Plus, I rearranged my living room by myself and not a scratch! Love it

I purchased this flooring about three months ago and finally had it professionally installed. I used an underlayment on a concrete slab in my basement which had some water issues until I got a sump pump installed. The flooring took about 4 hours to do lay down with the underlayment (about 530 SQ feet) and glue and took about 3 days to completely dry. It looks very nice on the floor, with the underlayment it made it soft to step on and gave an extra layer of protection between the slab and the flooring b/c moisture can creep up thru your slab very minimally. I am very impressed and pleased with my purchase.

We will mix and match the Forest, Overcast, and Meadowland flooring to create a multi-color pattern that will blend together. The project is still in the planning stages right now. Our home was built in 1959 and was used mostly as a summer retreat. The existing wood has many dings and gouges. Bondo makes a great filler to level out the substrate. A rubber roller works great to press the laminate down onto the adhesive. If you press along the vinyl it develops a surface tension and snaps back. This effect is small, but could lead to gaps in the flooring that would make both the flooring and the installer look less professional than they are.

These are nice looking planks and very easy to install. The picture online is quite accurate as to the color. There is a wide variety of planks, so they don’t all look the same. I have installed these before and they’re quite easy. You use a thin notched trowel to spread the glue and then wait till it turns translucent and tacky. Then the planks lay down easily and stay put. Installation is super easy as you merely need to score the plank and then it will snap. Cutting in against walls and jams is as easy as it gets. It is important to do good floor prep since these planks are fairly thin and will mold themselves exactly to the floor.

This is a very nice looking plank that looks very close to hardwood but since it is vinyl, it is 100% waterproof which works great for my bathroom.  The kids are always splashing while in the tub but I love the look of hardwood and this way I get the best of both worlds.  It has a 12 mil wear layer that should be more than sufficient for my bathroom and the glue down installation was pretty simple for a good diyer.  With the nice woodgrain set in various tan and slight gray tones, it is a good addition to my home.  This will be easy to care for as well. The planks are 6" x 48" and there were 27 planks in a carton.

This flooring is very attractive and makes a nice walking surface. It was easy to install and cut to fit. I bought Mimosa and the color is a bit lighter than the above picture. There is a nice grain and the pieces fit together perfectly. It is easy to cut to fit and goes down quickly. My only con is that is has to be glued down. I worry that if it should need to be replaced or repaired, it would be difficult to remove and the glue would be very hard to remove from hardwood floors. I would prefer a self sticking product.

Got 4 cases of this vinyl plank flooring for our next kitchen renovation for a spring project and all things considered this budget vinyl flooring looks very high end. While we were researching if “peel and stick” would be better over having to glue we decided to give this a try. We will install this in a very small kitchen and if things play out we are aiming for both longevity and durability. Should this type flooring not last long term, we can easily remove this roughly 200 square feet flooring. In the interim, the flooring is laid flat in a temperature controlled storage room while we shop for everything to renovate the kitchen

Recently received this vinyl plank flooring as part of HD product review program. Having no experience with this type of floor covering and reading the online description, I figured I could handle an installation by myself. Upon opening/inspection of the planks, I'm actually pleased with this. Has a nice feel and texture to it, not flimsy at all. This will be perfect for a rental unit that is soon to be vacant and in need of a 'face lift.' So far, it meets expectations quality and price point wise. Waterproof, pet proof, kid proof! What's not to like? How this will hold up in the long haul time will tell, of course.

Shaw Inspiration glue down vinyl plank flooring in Forest will look good in my bedroom! The vinyl flooring is wonderful! I have a cat, even though she is litter box trained, she has fur balls on occasion and they are hard to clean up on carpet! You can clean the vinyl with bleach and water! Carpet does not do well with bleach, AND you can get in the corners!!! I can hardly wait until I have in the rest of the house!

The planking is 2 MM thick which equates to about 5/64 of an inch, just a little over 1/8”. These vinyl planks really do look like wood, these being 100% waterproof was a big selling point. These planks are much thinner than wood flooring, I included some pictures to show the dimensions. 6” X 48” makes it easy to see the coverage of each plank and the total coverage. Each box contains 27 planks and each are very close to 2 Square feet each (The math works out to 1.997 square feet per piece). I am mixing 2 different styles of the Inspiration 12 line, so they will integrate very nicely. I have included some pictures showing how we can mix these 2 styles together. These planks are glued just as linoleum flooringing is. If you are planning on gluing directly on a concrete floor, some leveling might be useful or adding a wood subfloor, since these planks are thinner than wood boards. Some advantages of laying down these planks are: 1) The planks are glued down one piece at a time and not as one giant piece making it easier to manage 2) With these planks you apply the glue to the sub flooring in small manageable sections 3) Planks are designed to not show any seams. 4) linoleum comes is 12 foot width pieces and my floor will be 18 feet wide, thus having a need for a seem near the center of the room 5) I have done several linoleum floors and twice I had to do it by myself and each time I struggled to get the bubbles out. 6) Gluing one piece at a time it is much easier to work any bubbles out. Bubbles can be formed from spots with too much glue or an air pocket. With these planks you avoid these challenges. Unlike wood, each of these planks are flexible, thin and pretty light weight. They do make a night waterproof floor.

Great looking, easy pattern to make, overall happy with purchase. All cartons of planks arrived with no damage to the corners!

We love the color. The floor was easy to install and the quality of the material is excellent. Additionally, a sub floor was not needed to be added to the existing one. We floored the entire upstairs of a cape style home. It became a bedroom,office and bathroom. The flooring all the way through is just beautiful. Would recommend………….

The Shaw Inspiration 12 mil Forest 6 in. x 48 in. Glue Down Vinyl Plank Flooring installed perfectly. I used Henry 650R adhesive; it is pressure sensitive; you let it dry till clear. Then you have unlimited time to lay the planks down. This adhesive is releasable; planks can be replaced years later if damaged. Removing rug, pad, and thousands of staples took days. The house had a plywood floor in good condition, but some of the nails were not sunk well and had to be pulled and replaced with countersunk 2 inch galvanized deck screws because the plywood needed to be pulled down to the level of the adjoining plywood sheet. Then I used Henry 549 Feather Finish to cover the screw heads and plywood joint cracks.

It was easy to put down. Some of the boards are a little rougher than others so I would have chosen the layout a little differently.

Had kitchen and dining room done on uneven floors. Very very old house and I am very satisfied with the end result. Looks beautiful

Installation was easy. The floor does seem to scratch up easier than expected. We like the look of it and wanted a waterproof floor for our basement. It’s average quality in my opinion.
