Looks like wood
these floor is very thin may sure your floor are flat and leveled. Had hard time starting putting the floors down but I think that it was because we weren't sure how much glue to use. Cutting the floors we used a big floor cutting tool if you do it by hand the back pad is very hard to cut. Overall floor look great my son thought is was real wood and it does.

Was skeptical of the glue down product and the Home Depot salesman insisted they didn't carry any...
Was skeptical of the glue down product and the Home Depot salesman insisted they didn't carry any glue for a luxury vinyl plank because 'they're made to float'. I got the right glue myself after looking at the Home Depot app. The boxes were falling apart and the had boxes around the originals that were also falling apart (used ship to store and picked up there). The planks themselves look really good and were easy to lay (i did rent the 100lb vinyl roller to be safe- also cheap). Very satisfied!

Looks great! Easily affordable, easy to install, easy to clean and looks great. My living room looks so much better with this flooring than it ever did with carpet. Plus, I rearranged my living room by myself and not a scratch! Love it

Great Flooring
I purchased this flooring about three months ago and finally had it professionally installed. I used an underlayment on a concrete slab in my basement which had some water issues until I got a sump pump installed. The flooring took about 4 hours to do lay down with the underlayment (about 530 SQ feet) and glue and took about 3 days to completely dry. It looks very nice on the floor, with the underlayment it made it soft to step on and gave an extra layer of protection between the slab and the flooring b/c moisture can creep up thru your slab very minimally. I am very impressed and pleased with my purchase.

We will mix and match the Forest, Overcast, and Meadowland flooring to create a multi-color pattern that will blend together. The project is still in the planning stages right now. Our home was built in 1959 and was used mostly as a summer retreat. The existing wood has many dings and gouges. Bondo makes a great filler to level out the substrate. A rubber roller works great to press the laminate down onto the adhesive. If you press along the vinyl it develops a surface tension and snaps back. This effect is small, but could lead to gaps in the flooring that would make both the flooring and the installer look less professional than they are.

We do recommend installation on original wood floors that are nailed/stapled to a wood subfloor as long as they are structurally sound, level and fastened or bonded adequately. Also, all flooring must be rolled with a minimum 100-lb roller after installation. Use a hand roller in areas not reached with a 100-lb. roller. These are nice looking planks and very easy to install. The picture online is quite accurate as to the color. There is a wide variety of planks, so they don’t all look the same. I have installed these before and they’re quite easy. You use a thin notched trowel to spread the glue and then wait till it turns translucent and tacky. Then the planks lay down easily and stay put. Installation is super easy as you merely need to score the plank and then it will snap. Cutting in against walls and jams is as easy as it gets. It is important to do good floor prep since these planks are fairly thin and will mold themselves exactly to the floor.

This is a very nice looking plank that looks very close to hardwood but since it is vinyl, it is 100% waterproof which works great for my bathroom. The kids are always splashing while in the tub but I love the look of hardwood and this way I get the best of both worlds. It has a 12 mil wear layer that should be more than sufficient for my bathroom and the glue down installation was pretty simple for a good diyer. With the nice woodgrain set in various tan and slight gray tones, it is a good addition to my home. This will be easy to care for as well. The planks are 6" x 48" and there were 27 planks in a carton.

This flooring is very attractive and makes a nice walking surface. It was easy to install and cut to fit. I bought Mimosa and the color is a bit lighter than the above picture. There is a nice grain and the pieces fit together perfectly. It is easy to cut to fit and goes down quickly. My only con is that is has to be glued down. I worry that if it should need to be replaced or repaired, it would be difficult to remove and the glue would be very hard to remove from hardwood floors. I would prefer a self sticking product.

Got 4 cases of this vinyl plank flooring for our next kitchen renovation for a spring project and all things considered this budget vinyl flooring looks very high end. While we were researching if “peel and stick” would be better over having to glue we decided to give this a try. We will install this in a very small kitchen and if things play out we are aiming for both longevity and durability. Should this type flooring not last long term, we can easily remove this roughly 200 square feet flooring. In the interim, the flooring is laid flat in a temperature controlled storage room while we shop for everything to renovate the kitchen

Recently received this vinyl plank flooring as part of HD product review program. Having no experience with this type of floor covering and reading the online description, I figured I could handle an installation by myself. Upon opening/inspection of the planks, I'm actually pleased with this. Has a nice feel and texture to it, not flimsy at all. This will be perfect for a rental unit that is soon to be vacant and in need of a 'face lift.' So far, it meets expectations quality and price point wise. Waterproof, pet proof, kid proof! What's not to like? How this will hold up in the long haul time will tell, of course.
