I put them under the base of a table that I just built. It weighs about 75 pounds. I don't trust the plastic threads on the inserts to hold up, so I threw away and replaced them with T-nuts. So far I haven't need to add jam nuts. The table is very stable, doesn't rock. The price was very reasonable.

These were easy to install, and work as intended. However, fairly quickly one of the felt pads fell off, hence the 3 stars and not 5. Fortunately it was a quick fix with a dab of super glue. I would still recommend these, just keep the super glue handy! Also, it's my own fault for not measuring, but if I had it to do all over, I would get the smaller ones, these are bigger than our chair legs so they stick out on all sides which looks a little goofy, just thought I'd mention it.
I have tried several types of scuff guards but these worked so well we put them on all of our chairs. The chairs glide and don’t scuff our hardwood floors. The felt pads stay put. I used a 11/32 wood drill bit that is recommended and tapped in the plastic inserts with a hammer. The stems screw into the inserts by hand. A hand blower or vacuum comes in handy after the drill work. Marking the drill bit to insure you get the proper depth (length of metal stem) helps. Blowing the saw dust off before pulling the drill bit out helps keep the dust from refilling the hole. It takes me about 10 minutes per chair to install these after I get set up. I have provided a few photos I hope they help answer any questions.

Went on a fairly heavy dining room table that already had screw on plastic feet. Easy to swap out. New vinyl plank flooring instructions recommended felt pads on everything that sits on it so we shall see how they get along.
