These wheels were exactly what I needed to make a cart to hold the cab of a 55 chevy truck. They were well constructed and functioned better than I expected . I can roll this complete cab around my shop with ease by my self. I would recommend these wheels to any one that has a need for a good high weight capacity wheel . I would give these wheels 5 stars.

This is a big wheel. It is rated at 350 lbs which is a lot for one wheel. I like the fact that it swivels so that when you have a heavy load on it, it will turn with ease. I use a aluminum cart that was made for moving pieces of granite. The cart holds a lot of weight. This wheel will greatly help my cart for moving around my shop floor. I plan to get several more to make it just great.

I had an idea for moving my trailer around so I ordered the 10" Shepherd pneumatic caster. I have a graveled yard and moving my heavy ATV-hauling trailer was difficult on the old hard plastic caster. The trailer's tongue weight is around 70 pounds making moving it around on a small caster a challenge. Plus the yard is too small for maneuvering the trailer when hitched to my truck. I devised a way to mount the caster to the trailer's tongue jack using a 2" floor flange and a 3" x 2" pipe nipple. I had to wallow out the holes in the floor flange just a bit to approximate the holes in the caster mounting flange. 4, 5/16" carriage bolts did the job of attaching the floor flange to the caster. With 30 PSI in the caster tire and a little extra grease on the pivot, this set-up works like a charm. The caster seems very heavy duty. The tire was very stiff before I brought the tire pressure up to 30 PSI. The pivot has a grease zerk making maintenance a snap. I do remove the caster during long-term trailer storage just to keep the tire out of the hot Arizona sun. So for a fraction of the cost of a ready-made pneumatic caster, this Shepherd caster did the trick for me. NOTE: Be sure to click on the thumbnails below to see the full image. The 10 in. swivel caster is exactly what I needed to make a wagon/trailer from pallets to pull behind by lawn tractor for hauling outdoor landscape materials... They are heavy duty and the swivel action will allow easy turning without having a moveable front axle... they can be attached directly to the bottom of the pallet wagon... they have 2 drawbacks.. first they are $10 more at H. D. than a competitor's price and 2ndly the rubber has a strong offensive smell that hopefully dissipate with age.
