Canvas dropcloth. We used it to paint a photo backdrop for my sister's bachelorette party. What's better to paint on than a dropcloth designed to catch paint?!?!? It's GIANT and was only about $13. Not bad...

Ordered six of these to make drapes to block the killer west sun on our back porch. Five were perfect but the other one had a huge seam across the entire cloth, making it unusable for my needs. I love the look, however, and they're already hemmed -- unlike most drop cloths on the market. For the original use as a drop cloth, they'd be great! They're heavy and large...and soft, after the first washing.

I happened to buy these for a different purpose from painting. I needed them as canvas curtains for outdoor props. Unfortunately these DO have a huge seam running right through the middle. If you use them for any other purpose like I am, just know that there is a horizontal 3/4" seam straight through the middle. Otherwise, they are pretty hefty sheets. I washed them twice to soften and they were just as solid and well made.

  • Bedding for bunny pen
  • March 22, 2016

I'm using this canvas tarp for the bottom of my bunny's pen. Works really nicely, it's relatively soft but has good grip so he can hop around and scratch without sliding around.

This product perfectly lives up to its description. I cut and decorated rectangular pieces of the drop cloth to make "paper" towels.

I've purchased this dropcloth in the past to use as curtains and they worked out beautifully. This time, however, the texture is completely different (extremely stiff) and also shrunk when i washed them. I would not recommend - even as a dropcloth - as they shrink about 1/3 of the size, if you need to wash them. Very disappointed.

  • Excellent quality

I decided to use these canvas drops as curtains. they look awesome! they are thick and heavy. i'm sure they would work great as drop cloths...but just double check to make sure that the material is the same (if using as curtains).

Pros High Quality of Material, Easy to Use, Good Coverage, Easy to Clean Cons double check to see if it's all the same material.

  • Only 65% Cotton - cheaper cotton/poly blends available, but I was looking for 100% cotton
  • March 20, 2015
  • Recommended Product

This product will likely meet your needs, if you are looking for a non-leakproof drop cloth to cover items for some light protection. This item is hemmed on 2 sides, the selvage edge prevents fraying on the longer sides, and there is a seam down the middle. Although I recognize now that this product did not actually claim to be 100% cotton, I wrongfully expected a 100% cotton cloth because no other fiber was mentioned in the description, and this line was used to described the content: "Made from natural cotton canvas . . . " I was looking for cotton so that I could use this in a sewing project, which I know is NOT what this product is marketed for, but I thought I should share this information in case this matters to any other shopper. The fiber content will now change what I can use it for: 65% Cotton 20% Polyester 15% Recycled Fibers
