So wanted to like but . . .When our Calacatta was installed, first thing I noticed is it is much more muted in color than samples or photos. Be aware it's going to look subtle in its veins. The other thing was it had a divot on delivery day that had to be polished out. Yesterday, I found 3 scratches on it, and we've only had it a month! We tried to figure out what would have made the scratches and can only think of a cutting board sliding across or maybe a plate with something underneath it.
I THOUGHT QUARTZ AND SILESTONE WASN'T SUPPOSED TO SCRATCH!
I am quite disappointed with this product, and I so wanted to enjoy our first countertop upgrade in a long time.
What would Silestone say to me about the scratches?
Photo not so good--flash makes it hard to see, but one scratch is to the right of my finger.
