I have owned the same home in Georgia for 20 years, after a mandatory move from Connecticut to Atlanta area. During my 20 years I have used at least 10 different powerwash brands. Some were
Corrosive, some took care the algae & pollution, but left a residue. Some mixes were very bleach smelling. I personably like and trust the Simple Green product line. This product did a great job, no residue, no algae, no dirt. Like any exterior cleaning, spray on and let the product sit for 5 to 15 minutes. Next put sprayer on rinse,start spraying from the top to bottom. This product works well

Excellent Cleaner!
This Simple Green Cleaner works great! It is also safe for the plants, etc. Just follow the directions on the bottle, wet everything down first. Easy to apply with a pressure washer, and then rinse. Mildew falls off like magic. I am very impressed with how well it works. I really like the Simple Green Line of products and highly recommend this House and Siding Cleaner. No harsh odor either. A little goes a long way. The instructions say that if there is really no 'heavy dirt', you can cut it 50/50 with water. If you look at the pictures here, I did not use it full strength but cut it with about 30% water and what an amazing job it did!
I was not able to reach this section of my house for about a year and a half. So I wanted to show this section especially, after a year and a half buildup of dirt and mildew. Product worked fantastic!

I didn't like it
I used this stuff without and with a pressure washer. The instructions ask you to spray it on then use a pressure washer. I sprayed it on and used a pressure washer and it did very little in regards to dirt removal. If you spray it on, then use a scrub broom or brush, it will work. So, this little experiment tells me the pressure washer does the work. In reality, a pressure washer will clean most anything without an additive soap.

GOOD QUALITY, NICE SMELLING SPRING CLEANER FOR YOUR HOUSE
Simple Green makes a great line of products for those of us who prefer to be a bit more gentle on the environment. The aroma is pleasant and it works as well as any other siding cleaner with a pressure washer. We used it on painted cedar siding and it took away a fair amount of Winter's dirt. For more stubborn areas spray and leave it for a few minutes before washing off. Concentrate goes a ways so it's an econmical way of Spring cleaning the exterior of you home and outside buildings. Much faster and easier than new paint.

I have a building with white vinyl siding. The north side developed mildew, so I searched for a good cleaner that I could use along with my pressure washer. I’ve used Simple Green products for decades, so there was no reason not to give this product a try. When I sprayed it on my siding via my pressure washer, I noticed no added benefit than using water alone. I then poured some of the cleaner into a pump sprayer and sprayed it full strength onto the siding. I let the cleaner soak for 10 minutes before going over it with my pressure washer again. It may have helped slightly, but I honestly saw little to no difference than using plain water alone. Very disappointing.
