This is advertised as having "solid wood drawers". They are plywood. Also advertised as "3/4" construction throughout" and "plywood build". The center shelf is 1/2" MDF with melamine. I expected a quality build at this price. Would not buy again.

We purchased the Simplicity by Strasser 42" wide vanity in natural alder for our bathroom remodel last summer. Nine months later, we are very happy with the purchase. We liked that this vanity has tons of storage space, that we had the option to pick our own vanity top to match how we wanted the bathroom to look, the natural wood color which adds warmth to our otherwise very white bathroom, and the fact that this vanity has a toe kick so it's not open on the bottom to allow dust to accumulate in hard to reach places. We did a lot of searching online and in stores for a 42" vanity, and feel that this is a good quality product for the price. The flip side of lots of storage space is that this vanity - and it seems most others that you purchase nowadays - are several inches taller than the older vanities in our home are. Our kids need to use a small step stool to use the sink. This isn't a downside for us, just something to be aware of.

Very beautiful but the wood is splitting. Disappointed.

I love the symmetrical look and color of this vanity. The bottom drawer, however, needed to be shaved off on the right side just a little in order to open (it was flush against the wall and door post on the right). Nothing my contractor couldn't handle. I use the drawer to store extra towels for guests.

We are very pleased with the quality of this cabinet's construction and its appearance.

Vanity, granite countertop with sink, & faucet were installed yesterday--plumber had to drill new holes to lower the center shelf to fit below the pipe. My husband said that the basement bathroom looked much better with this Strasser vanity. I priced other stores & saved $1400 by using Home Depot.

The vanity looks just like the picture. I love the color and draws space. The product had no defects.

Very well packed for shipping, no damage. Sturdy build, nice finish. Drawers are adequate quality, thin flooring and unsophisticated front panel attachment.Cabinet doors have very thin inserts as well. Reasonable quality for the price.

This is a highly overpriced vanity without a lot of quality. I actually priced out custom and they were the same price. The doors are misaligned, one drawer keeps coming off its glides, and they aren't even soft close - which is expected at this price point. The only reason I chose this is because it was the only vanity that fit my sink and came in time - ended up being more than a week late. The color is pleasant.

Have not installed it yet, but the color and quality of the vanity is excellent. Looks well built and the style is perfect.

The drawer fronts are not level with each other. Not only that, but the drawer fronts are not flush with the case of the cabinet. One of the door hinges doesn't work, and "soft close drawers" slam shut. Not buying again because it's not worth the price.

Overall it's a good vanity. The doors and drewers are made well, the cabinet box is put together kinda hourly but once it's properly mounted to the wall it should be fine.

Great quality - perfect fit. Only observation, the side drawers could have been a little longer providing more capacity.

Vanity arrived unscratched. Easy to install. Looks good in the space. Matched it with a tan granite top. It does have an oder that I hope will diminish with time.

This is a beautiful piece of furniture. The hardwood and finish are top quality. The drawers are well constructed, not pasteboard, soft close, nice knobs. I chose a white vitreous china vanity top to go with the lighter alder wood.

Product was delivered with unknown damage sustained during the manufacturing / packing process. Contractor chose to repair the damage in lieu of delaying the installation process through reporting the damage and waiting for a replacement unit.
