This product is only available through special order, but it only took a few days to arrive for pickup. I have an older cantilever style deck with 3x8 beams that run out. I had decided to sister joist the original 3x8 beams due to aging and slight damage on both sides with 2x8 lumber resulting in an overall width of approximately 6 inches. These hangers were perfect for the job.

Our contractor had a somewhat difficult time getting the bracket to fit around the width of the 4 joists. Blunt force had to be applied to one of the vertical sides to properly fit. We expected that it maybe would have been 1/4"-1/2" wider so that it could simply be screwed into place, since the 4 2x10 joists had been sistered as close to one another as possible. The end result was fine, and fortunately the hanger does not appear to have been beat up at all during the install. We are glad that home depot carried this product, however, since most stores did not even carry quad hangers.
