Customer Reviews for Snap to Vent 4 in. Master Connector Kit for Dryer Installation

This is a great concept but SnaptoVent needs to improve the gasket connection to the dryer and wall. Ours apparently fell off - there is lint everywhere behind the dryer and up the wall. We are having the delivery company return to re-install the vent hose using clamps. Our washer/dryer are on pedestals.

The snap to vent product wad easy to install and I ampleased with it.

Would give a zero, but that is not an option. This product is defective junk. The connection is tapered so doesn’t slide on a 4 inch duct pipe. Used hairdryer to try to get it on and only ended up bending my duct pipe. Couldn’t ever get this on fast enough to leave in place. Tried to duct tape it on. Then realized it sticks further from the wall than the flex house I was trying to replace. Do not water your time out money.

I order this on 3/15/24 and it isnt set to arrive until 3/26/24 which seems too long in my opinion. Everything else in that order arrived within 2

does not stay on vent pipe without plenty of tape. Could not use elbow on back of dryer. Had to buy two clamps and extra tape. Do not recommend!

The plastic extensions have no solid connection to the dryer or exhaust vent, and they slide off and don't stay connected. Nice idea, poor design.

This connection concept is great in theory if your dryer and wall will allow you to have the elbow pressed against a wall to hold it in place. There is not another way to keep the elbow on; tape, clamps, etc., will not hold, only something pressing on the back. I have a couple of inches in play behind my dryer and that is enough that a gentle wiggle of the dryer, such as closing the door, knocks the elbow off and then lint escapes. The wall connection elbow is the same way.

elbows would not stay in place. threw the whole thing away, and went back to standard vent connection with clamps.

This is easier than just hose and clamps.

Fitting it to the existing vent pipe on the drier proved to be quite difficult. The tape is less than adequate for its purpose!

finally an easy solution to the simple but problematic job the way the 90 deg angle of the fitting presses up against the wall not a foot away the ducting is a perfect fit and the Velcro connector instead of being upside down with a screwdriver attempting to connect it with a hose clamp that always comes loose I was done in five minutes I love this thing I have to have 100 hrs trying to put clamps on dryers

The oval shapes do not work. The straps are wide enough that they conflict with one another on a 90* elbow. Do not recommend...I returned this product.

Did not fit for me. Did not fit my 4” vent pipe correctly. I tried hard to make it work but no luck.

The vent connectors are stiff and if there is any difference between your vent and the connectors there will be gaps and improper fit. The loops to hold the hose on do not work at all and are totally useless. To make the system work you will have to use duct tape. The hose and connectors with the right angle to keep the hose from bending were the only usable parts of the kit, but must be used with tape to keep it from leaking. Not impressed with the kit at all and would not recommend. Buy only the parts you need.

I almost never review, but this one deserves it. The right angle vent connections are a good idea and saved me a couple inches against the wall. But the velcro plastic clamps are a total joke. I could tell when I put them on that they wouldn't hold but tried them anyway. That was good for 3 weeks until the venting just fell off the dryer. Duck tape and doing it all over was the price I paid. Don't bother with the plastic clamps - go straight to the Duck Tape.

Good Solution as an alternative to rigid metal tubes.
