First off this is my first electric yard tool other than a blower. I was suprised, using it for trim work it is very agile and only took half the battery to do my trim work. I like the fact self propel works with the blades off. If you need help backing it up, if the wheels lock stop abd try again thry always unlock. I won this unit at work, but yes i would buy one.

I was quite skeptical at first about this lawn mower. Not any more. This is an excellent lawn mower and it has a lot more power than I would've thought. First, the lawn mower comes, essentially, assembled. You have to put the handle in place and this is clearly illustrated in the instruction though it is also pretty intuitive. Next, charge the battery overnight. The battery is pretty big and has an indicator light when it is fully charged. When first starting the mower, you might say "What the heck?!?!?" because the motor takes about 2.5 seconds to "spin up" to full speed and then you're all set. Adjustments for grass height are easy with one handle and the main handle can be adjusted to 3 different angles to make mowing easier. So, how does it cut? Very well. I used this for the first mow of the season and it ate through the grass with no problems. I replaced my plug-in electric mower with this one and it kept pace with no issues. Battery charge is excellent and I was able to mow a 7000 square foot lawn on one charge and there was no lag. The handle has quick release tabs to allow for collapsed stowing of the mower and this is an important feature to allow for compact stowage in my shed. Overall: excellent!

Easy to assemble! good instructions, and so lightweight! I think this is just what we've needed to mow our front bank - it is quite steep in spots - There are places in our yard that just need a battery mower to get around. Seven different height adjustments,Very satisfying to simply reach over, pull the lever to change its decking height, and you're back in business. We don't have a lot of grass yet, but an effective demonstration thereof, in any case.

An excellent quality mower if only... This newly marketed mower has a lot of excellent qualities, like adjusting the wheel height of all 4 wheels at once by effortlessly using one lever. The body is manufactured with moderately heavy gauge steel. Most of the rest of the unit is also made from steel. The 5AH lithium battery is easy to install. The mower's discharge can be either a side throw, rear catcher, or mulching. The steel framed rear catcher is very well made and of high quality. When operating, there is more than ample power for mowing most young grasses. The mower can be easily folded for hanging on a wall for storage. Sadly, the instruction manual is lacking in vital user information. Now, the big con... Between the steel mower blade and the steel mower deck is a plastic fanned spacer which I believe is meant to cool the encased electric motor (see picture). Plastic, not metal! One small rock or other substance pulled up into the mower would probably be enough to destroy this fanned spacer and make the mower inoperable until the part was replaced.

POWERFUL & light. This Snapper 48v brush-less Lawnmower is a beast. it is almost fully assembled in the box. The Battery is rated to last 90 min of average use. it has a strength meter on it so that you are able to see how charged it is. I put this Mower through a bit of abuse from the start. put on its highest setting my overgrown yard was at least 6" taller than that. This thing did the job. It seems to have an automatic variable speed control. when in heavier cutting the motor sped up. when i was done the battery level was down to half. fully acceptable given the abuse it went through. it stores vertical if you want & comes with a side discharge shoot as well as a mulching plug. Great Mower. there was a bolt missing when i unpacked it. easily fixed with a quick call to the mfg.

Love this mower so much I would take a selfie with it if my arms were long enough! I've been shopping for a cordless electric mower for a couple of years. Never found one that fit my needs: powerful enough to handle crabgrass and the weeds that grow much faster than the grass, yet nimble enough to use in the long strips and on the steep slopes of my lawn. Then the Snapper came into my life. Wow, it's a whole new world out there on my lawn. Rather than banging and shoving the gas-powered beast into the curves and being pulled down the slope by its weight, I've got the Snapper. It works with me, not against me. The picture here shows spring's first cut of tall weeds. The mower setting is 3 inches. The weeds were heavily damp from continuous rains, but I could not wait any longer. We have another week of rain coming in, and the lawn would be impossible if I waited until the next weather break. The Snapper handled this chore with flying colors. And talk about quiet! I can hear the neighbor's growling tank from more than 500 yards away through a 200 yard tree buffer while the Snapper is purring along. And no fumes! This is the first time in years that I have smelled nothing but fresh-cut grass. Spring onion tang and the cool breeze carrying the fragrance of redbud trees. Really makes cutting the lawn a much more pleasant experience. Eco-friendly, of course. Big bonus there. Final big hugs for the ability to store the Snapper away very easily. I cleared out space in the furnace room and have a pic of how small a footprint it uses. The mower is so lightweight that it's very easy to move up over the raised threshold and maneuver it in a tight space. No fuss at all. Great product for so very many reasons.

I love this Snapper 20" 48V Cordless Mower! Its already put together except for the handle which is easy to install and screw on. It's lightweight and easy to take up and down a flight of stairs.I don't have to wear ear phones while running it. The attachments just hook on/off. Adjustable heights for the cutting and the handle positions.The mulch plug - mulches the leaves and grass The Grass catcher - catches the leaves and grass. The Briggs &Stratton charger and battery comes along with it . It can also be used for multiple products. The side discharge chute is aimed down towards the ground, keeping the debris from hitting you from behind it. I love that its cordless and I can mow without using extension cords which get in the way-No gas or oil needed and no pulling of a string to start. All you have to do is push the button to start.Great for areas that have no access to electricity.

The kit includes the mower, grass catch bag, mulching plug, side discharge chute, Briggs & Stratton 48V Rechargeable Lithium-Ion battery and charger, as well as easy to follow instruction manuals. The machine set up easily. I love the pushbutton start! It's the easiest, least exhausting start up I've every experienced with a lawnmower. Great for light duty lawn and yard maintenance. Once started it takes just a second or two to reach full RMP. What beautiful machine! Since it is still winter here in Pueblo West, Colorado, it will be a couple more months before the yard is ready to prep and sod. The outer fence parameter, also maintained by myself per HOA rules, is now covered with snow on the shady northside but will be ready to mow very soon. I'm actually looking forward to it!!!
