I just received my plant and I decided to open it while at work. I opened the box to find a dried out and dead plant. I called Home Depots customer service since there wasn't a direct number from the manufacturer. HD was great, they apologized even though this came directly from the manufacturer and offered to re-order me another plant. Hopefully I can change my review when the next one comes. I'm totally disappointed in the manufacturer though. The plant looks worse in person then in the photo.

Thank you for your feedback and we hope that the second gardenia that arrived was in better shape than the first one. The photo of the 2.5 Qt that depicts the plant in the pot on the product page is a good example of how this plant should arrive.

Not hardy in Zone 8b
I bought 20 Jubilation Gardenias through Home Depot last summer. Arrived in excellent condition, bloomed all summer. Then in Zone 8b we had a cold spell of 7-10 days of solid 10F temps. Despite heavy mulching and covering with heavy-duty plastic row cover, 18 of the 20 plants died and the 2 that made it through only have a little new green growth at the base of the plant. Very disappointing.

Only received one of thee live plants after 10 days of ordering in shipping too long for LIVE plants. Don’t know where one is!!!!!! On in Sacramento today. 10 days in shipping today. Greatly dissatisfied.
