Exactly what I was looking for. The 14" round pot & saucer fit inside this perfectly! Color had a little more of a greenish cast to it, but It was perfect for me.

I recently purchased the above item but in Oxblood red. The blue was not available. Lovely planter. I purchased two at the same time. They look fabulous in my garden. I planted a flowering climber in them. As part of the planting process, I had to drill more drainage holes in the bottom of the planters. They are stated to be composed of resin composite material which in spite of its light weight presented some resistance to drilling. I loved that fact because it spoke to the hardiness of the material. However, with the second planter, the drill broke through the bottom, punching a larger, irregular hole in the planter. This planter bottom was made of PLASTIC!!!!! I was so disgusted. The plastic did not seem durable, either. The planters were made in China. I wish there was better quality control there. Or maybe this is a cost-saving measure. Buyer beware. I have purchased several items from Southern Patio (distributer/manufacturer). Never had a problem in the past. I gave it 3 stars because one was alright.

This Southern Patio Jamaica navy resin square planter looks good in the picture. However, it is made of a brittle resin . It is easily damaged - see photo. I guess when filled with soil it is functional, unless of course it breaks first. I would recommend you spend your money on something more substantial as this item is (to me) not acceptable. The finish on the resin is however very nice, but only time will tell if it fades with time.

This can be used for flowers, plants or vegetable. It has beautiful handcrafted detail. They are made from durable resin and will hold up for many years. It is actually a cost-effective planter compared to the ceramic planters. They are also light- weight, making it easier to move from place to place. I really love the gloss finish. It stands out as if it is an expensive piece, when in actuality it's very affordable. It measures 16" square, 16" high, 16" wide and 16" in length, and is perfect for medium sized plants. This is made from ceramic and resin composite. The container volume is 29.9 quarts. It does have drainage holes and is UV weather resistant. The weight is approximately 15.43 pounds. Southern Patio Colony 16 in. Dia Navy Resin Composite Square Planter, Blue This is one beautiful planter. The very strong navy blue color (see first photo) practically glows, even in the shade and is simply brilliant in sunlight. The planter is a hefty 15 pounds which helps keep in in place in our frequent windy conditions with artificial plants in outdoor planters. A centered drainage hole is formed in the bottom for live plants. The inside capacity easily takes a 5-gallon Homer bucket (see second photo) with ease. However, its appearance and decorative contribution is best made with its intended purpose (see third photo).

The beautiful blue gloss finish with the relief image on all four sides has an immediate WOW factor. It is a beautiful piece that is a very usable size, (16"X16"X16" outside dimensions), is UV and weather resistant, and has a drain hole with removable rubber plug in the bottom. Being resin it weights 15 lbs empty, is very stable sitting on the ground, is much easier than concrete to move, and should stay much cooler, (and easier on plant roots), during our Florida summers. Holding 30 quarts it will hold a fairly large plant. It arrived very well packaged and in perfect shape. Every time a neighbor walks past our house they stop to admire this new planter.

Very high quality planter. It looks good on its own but great in a pair flanking a door or gate. Despite being composite material it is heavily weighted and very sturdy. It is just under 14 inches wide of planting space allowing potting of several plants. In my case I placed a center urn filler surrounded by spring decor. There is a good sized drainage hole for outdoor use that comes with a rubber plug in place to prevent dripping if indoors. The finish is somewhat glossy but doesn't seem prone to scratching. So far it looks great.

Gorgeous planter for large or small pots! Indoor or out. This is a very very nice looking planter. I can't wait to fill it with tall plants on the deck this summer. The exterior is a gloss tan color, with black scroll and dial work. Very nicely done. Dimensions are 16 inches high on the outside, can fit a 14 inch diameter pot inside and is 15 inches deep inside. There is a drain plug that you can remove, allowing excess water to drain away. The planter is light enough to move around but heavy enough to place a pot inside with a tall palm and will not tip. If the plant isn't heavy enough, just fill the bottom of the planter with sand or stones and it will hold steady. This color and style will fit any decor style inside, modern or vintage. I highly recommend this planter.

For some reason I was under the impression this planter was a ceramic blend. There is Ceramix on the packaging. It does say it is a resin composite. Turns out it is plastic and made in China. I like the big roomy size and square shape. It has a drain plug in the bottom which is a plus. It is fairly light weight. However, this planter is expensive for what it is and the paint should not chip off as easily as it does.. It came with several chips. It just looks cheap. Not a fan..

This planter is plastic and made in China. It is the size I wanted and the square shape fits in with my décor. A big plus is a drain plug in the bottom. Since it had Ceramix on the packaging, I thought it was a ceramic blend even though it says resin composite in the ad. Very confusing. It is overpriced for what it is. As an example, the paint chips off easily. It just looks cheap. Not a fan.

It is fairly light weight which is good because it's 16 inches and could become very heavy filled with large plant and soil. There is a drain hole in the bottom which is a plus. It is way over priced for what it is. I was expecting so much more. Not a fan.

This is a beautiful and sturdy 16in. square planter that will add a touch of sophistication to any area indoor or outdoor. It is made of a strong resin and the color is Oxblood or a deep and rich burgundy that will compliment any decor. It has a pre-drilled hole with rubber stopper on bottom for drainage and is very deep which will allow for maximum root growth if you decide to fill with potting soil. Will also make a fabulous vessel to put a pre-potted container directly into it such as a small tree or topiary. This will also look awesome indoors for any plant real or artificial. It has an elegant medallion in the center and has flanged top and bottom ridges. Also can be used to create a coffee table using 2 of these as a base with a piece of glass or wood!

Beautiful is an understatement. Very impressive when viewing it in person. I placed this on my fireplace. Has a high gloss easy clean finish. Makes the whole room sparkle. Very well made and very sturdy. Has a whole in the bottom with a removable plug. Nothing cheap or flimsy about this planter. Can also be placed outside with plug removed. Weather resistant finish. I highly recommend this planter

This is not some lightweight plastic, run-of-the-mill, every day planter. This is a heavy duty resin planter weighing upwards of 20+ pounds. The outside has a nice glossy finish to it and the medallions on each side have just the slightest highlights to accentuate them. The bottom comes with a single drain plug that is easily removed. However, I would strongly recommend adding additional drainage in the bottom of the planter prior to planting. I personally plan on using the Styrofoam packing that this planter came in. This will lessen the amount of soil needed as well as making it lighter than using a full soil mixture. Due to the weight of the planter alone I strongly recommend placing the planter in the area in which you will be displaying it. Once filled, it’s going to be extremely heavy and very difficult to move. It’s not yet quite planting season but I can’t wait until it is. This is going to be classy addition to my patio.

This beautiful Oxblood colored resin 16 inch square planter is very well made. It has a drain hole in the center of the bottom, but also comes with a rubber plug should you decide to use this planter indoors. The resin material is thick and the planter is quite heavy and solid. You won’t have to worry about it breaking should you decide to move it with a full load of soil in it. This planter looks and feels like it would last for a very long time outside in the elements.

Colony 16 in. DIA Chinchllla Resin Composite Planter Is perfect size for my porch this growing season. Make sure you place it where you want it because after you add potting soil it will be heavy to move. The beautiful flowers that I will plant in it will make this planter just stand out more Very beautiful and useful. I do recommend you try these.

Colony 16 in, Ivory Resin Composite Square Planter is ! Absolutely beautiful for my porch when it gets planting season Perfect size. I'm going to plant an array of different colored flowers in it this year. When you get your planter make sure you have it in the place you want it It won't to easy to move after potting soil is added. I do recommend .

What a lovely planter! I can't wait to fill it up with some lovely plants! I've just noticed that there is a plug in the bottom, too, making it easier to rinse out...this planter came very well packaged and wrapped. I can't get over what a pretty color it is, oxblood. It's a great size, and since it's made from resin rather than concrete, it's very easy to move around (until you load it with soil, water, and plants!) I'll be ready for Spring this year!

Planters are beautiful, they match the trim color on our home. They were easy to order, came in early, and were ready for pick up when I arrived at the store. My wife loves them!!!

Not sure what happened as pot was outdoors. Went to move the pot and noticed a crack in the top corner of the pot. Love the color and look of the pot.

Bought two of these to replace the two pedestal planters purchased last year. The pedestal style is very top heavy and blow over easily. The finish wore off with each time it fell.

It was very pretty. I loved the size of it.

This planter is well made, apparently from recycled rubber / plastics, and it the perfect southern accent I needed for my patio. It is lightweight and looks exactly as shown. I believe that it will be durable overall, but I will have to wait and see how the paint holds up to the weather. I actually added wheels and made an umbrella stand out of it.
