It's a quality ceramic that attracts the most in this pot. The paint over is with tiny "cracks" that exhibit "aged" look. Really nice-looking "antique" pot.
The "plate" is built-in, so there is no foreseeable hassle finding a good-matching plate for excess of water collection. Easy to clean - no finger prints visible.
Nice engraving in the front of four-pointed start. Finally found a good pot for our orchids!

This handmade clay pot is crackle glazed giving it an antique look. It has an embossed floral pattern on opposite sides.
My wife really loves this pot. She makes fairy gardens every spring and this one fits right in with her others. We use it outdoors but it could be used inside the house as well.
The saucer is attached and the combination of the pot and saucer are quite heavy and heavy duty. It will hold anything you put in it.

Most people will probably have this ceramic pot shipped to them. It was properly packaged in heavy duty cardboard and foam. It came in perfect shape. The quality was better than expected. The colors are bright and pleasing. The size is perfect for smaller annuals. It could even be used as a center piece for a large table. We are planing on getting more and lining the pool with them.

The Lorna 12 inch white ceramic pot is truly lovely. The appliqué in both sides adds to the elegant finish. This is a good size pot that will hold several starter annual plants to make a great display, or use it to transplant a larger perennial plant. It comes with an attached plate and has several drainage holes. It is a strong, heavy pot that will last from season to season. A great look and a great value.

The Lorna 12 in. diameter Pearl White Ceramic Pot is both classic and classy, as well as good old-fashioned heavy. It’s definitely well made and stable enough to handle taller plants. The white color will contrast perfectly with plants of any color. The shiny glaze adds to the beauty and will help this pot last. The attached saucer is perfectly sized and matched and retains any excess water that drains through the hole in the bottom of the pot allowing waterings to last a wee bit longer while raising the humidity around the plant. The pads on the bottom of the saucer are a nice touch. I planted it with 3 young ferns from Home Depot which should fill in rather nicely. You can look, but I really don’t think you’ll find a prettier or better-made 12” ceramic pot.

My wife loves everything about this pot.
The color is stunning, and the size is just right for most any plant or flower to go into.
The overflow saucer is fashioned to the planter as one-piece when made, so there's no loose saucer to loose, or break.
As you can perhaps see within the attached picture, the degree of crackle finish is not as dramatic as the picture on the HD web site shows...It's more subdued, as perhaps shown in my attached picture.
I am very pleased that we got this planter. It's unlike most other planters out there, and am looking forward to having it around our house.
