Used this pipe for curtain rods. Make sure to clean well with TSP and lightly sand if you plan to paint them. Use a primer coat and then paint. Paint will adhere better if you complete this step.

I bought this pipe for use with pipe clamps. I had Home Depot cut it in half. I went with this over the black pipe because the black pipes in stock all had surface rust and one was even bent. Very happy with the long term prospects of using this with my pipe clamps!
