I guess the product is fine. the wire #10 and functioned the way it should. the reason I gave such a low rating is that I bought 100 ft because I didn't want to have to be exact on my measurements for the project I was working on. I needed about 37 feet twice amounting to about 75 feet. I cut the first length at about 40 feet not worrying about the length because I bought 100 feet. The piece I had left barely made it for my project. The package had been opened and closed with tape but I didn't think much about it trusting that it would be fine coming from Home
Depot. I couldn't return anything because it was cut etc. I figure I was shorted about 20 feet. So be aware if you get a re-taped package from Home Depot.

As the name implies, this 10/2 Romex type wire is easy to pull/install in applications where it is listed for use. Those who work with wire will appreciate that this wire pulls almost as easy as 12/2 with the added bonus of being able to use smaller staples for surface runs. It runs handily behind molding and into tight areas well (remember to leave enough room for expansion and don’t exceed its rated amperage). The conductors strip easily and the sheathing pulls cleanly when done correctly. Excellent wire – good value.
