I bought this role because I needed 5 - 100ft lengths cut. I started unrolling the role and on the final cut I noticed the last 50ft was all chewed up and copper wire was exposed. I could not see this because it was covered by the wire in the role when I bought it. I could not return it because I had already cut the wire so I had to wrap it up with electrical tape.

Over priced. Local electrical supply has it for less than 1/2 the price per foot. I should of drive 20 minutes and could of save $200. Convenience costs.

Product was good to work with

Understandably, all of the copper wire is under lock and key and considering a short wait I was serviced very promptly and escorted to the front.

Product was available and staff pulled it quickly.

Wire is good quality wire. Use a sawzall to cut it. Make sure to buy it long enough. You can always cut some off

The spool the wire was loaded on broke and made wire off spool very difficult to do all because of short cut.

We went in search of some 4/0 wire. They don’t carry it anymore. But the guy that helped us didn’t know much about it. So he brought the manager over. Manager said 3/0 was pretty much the same thing just better. Us being first time home buyers thought okay. We will get it since no one Carries 4/0. Bought almost $500 worth of wire. Just to be told they won’t take it back. I get that it was cut for us. But that’s $500. Really mad that i couldn’t take it back even tho the manager assured us it would work. The guy that originally helped us was wonderful. His name was Felix and he helped us so much the last couple times we was in there. Every other experience was great. But just mad that they won’t take the wire back. That’s $500 we needed for our family.

3/4 hour wait for attendant to cut wire

Had 4 cuts of 140 ft shipped to my house. Took 20 days to receive so give your job time if you order it online. It’s shipped from Georgia I’m in California so 20 days for shipping and I had to call Home Depot three times because the order was on pause for some strange reason. But it worked out really well they sent me an extra hundred feet for some strange reason and at five dollars a foot that’s an extra 500 bucks. Thanks south wire Will order again next time I’ll just give myself a month to receive and I totally understand why each reel was 120 pounds so it was freight shipping
