For some reason, our water & shower pressure was cut in half. My boyfriend said there's nothing he can do about it, we just have to live with it and he won't hire a plumber. After some research I found this shower head. It works as good as our original shower head before the drop in water pressure. I really don't see how there are 3 settings though. One is a more intense spray from the very middle, and one is from all of the other holes in a finer spray. The one using both isn't so great.

We had our bathroom remodeled about 6 months ago. The shower head (a different well-known brand) was installed and it was a 1.75 GPM. It was terrible as far as water pressure. I have somewhat long and thick hair and it would not even take out the shampoo unless I stayed in there for what seemed like 30 minutes. So much for saving water which is what the GPM is suppose to accomplish. Anyway, I read through many reviews trying to find a replacement and saw this Speakman 2.5 GPM which really sounded promising. I decided to take the plunge (no pun intended) and so glad I did. It made a huge difference, and now I no longer dread trying to clean my hair. The GPM is very important believe me!

Great improvement over the shower head that I replaced. Improved water pressure and great selection of water patterns. Would recommend to anyone.

We have well water with normal pressure at 40psi, compared to municipal water supply which is around 60psi. The shower head we were using just wasn't spraying hard enough so I found this Speakman shower head rated 2.5gpm compared to most others at 1-1.5gpm. It has a lot of good reviews and we are delighted with the quality, design and most of all the wonderful pressure.

Love that it has an adjustable spray, perfect! And looks elegant too.

Finally! A shower head that does what it is advertized to do! There are only two settings which is perfect -one that is wide enough to shower you all over and with a simple twist, the water sprays more direct with imcreased pressure -plenty enough to rinse my long thick hair in far less time than any other shower head I have purchsed! Thank you Speakman for a great showerhead! Thank you for saving me time! My boyfriend was impressed with the showerhead and pressure as well!

Worked as expected. I appreciated that the unit came with some Teflon tape for the installation.

For the price of this item I was expecting more of a difference than other showerhead... Used it for over 2 weeks and finally could not bear the performance... more than anything you are paying for the namebrand and not necessarily the performance of this item. It performs well on low water pressure but there are other cheaper showerhead that does similar if not better than this one for far less the cost. Really disappointed inthis Speakman...
