  • Excellent grill! Quality product for a reasonable price.

This is a very reasonable priced grill - especially for a natural gas grill which are very overpriced in many stores. There is a lot of assembly required, but the directions and illustrations are very clear and not confusing at all. This grill is sturdy, but also attractive and looks nice on the porch. The grill heats up very evenly and the first meal I cooked on it was outstanding. Very satisfied with this purchase!

Fifteen years ago I tired of dealing with a charcoal grill and decided to give a gas grill a try. I bought a lava rock two burner model that was on sale. My thought was that if I liked gas then I would just replace this inexpensive grill when it burns out with a good quality one. The gas grill had a lot of advantages over charcoal so I stuck with it. Too bad for me I spent 15 years maneuvering food around and going through all kinds of gymnastics trying to cook food on such and uneven heating slow preheating unpredictable grill. My new Weber grill heats up quickly cooks evenly and very predictably. There is no need to rotate the food just turn it over. My model is a two burner which I was afraid might not heat evenly or cook well on a single burner. I cook for one quite a lot. Preheating with both burners and then cooking on one burner with the other one on low works out very well. With the old grill it was impossible to cook pork ribs that were done in the thicker parts and not over done everywhere else. The same rack of ribs was always over done and underdone. With the Weber the ribs come out prefect. The same is true for steaks and kabobs. Salmon steaks have been easy to cook to perfection on the Weber. The Weber rotisserie attachment I bought with the grill is well made. The skewer is heavy stainless steel as are the forks. Everything fits and works very well. My first roast was a bit small and came out over done, my error no doubt. With a bit more experience I know I am going to live the rotisserie. I opted for a natural gas model hoping it would be cheaper to operate than a propane model. The jury is still out on the expense aspect but the convenience of not having to deal with propane bottles is great. At 64 years of age, no doubt my heirs are going to be enjoying the last years of the fine Weber grill I bought while I’m pushing up daisies. My only regret is I wasted 15 years farting around with a cheap crummy grill. I should have bitten the bullet and bought a Weber to start with.

  • A great grill to have in limited space.

This grill fits very nicely where space is limited, without sacrificing cooking area, which is not huge but is plenty for my grilling, and the cooking space is easy to work in. Heats up well, quickly, and cooks evenly. Comes with very good instructions for use. Assembly took some time but is easy to understand, and the grill is well built and sturdy even though construction is not complicated.

I was able to study it online with good detail info because I am in a small town and Home Depot is 25 miles from here. It was the right size and I like the looks. It was small but high performance and durable. The instructions made it easy to assemble. I was able to order directly as a natural gas grill instead of having to buy a conversion kit. It was helpful that it was shipped for free since my car is too small to carry it and it is too heavy for me to lift in and out of the car

  • Perfect grill for condo porch!
  • September 05, 2013

Had a hard time finding a grill to fit our 40" space on our condo till we came across this Weber. Hard plumbed it to our natural gas line which happened to be in the same corner we placed the grill. With the Spirit's S-210's drop leaves down it is easy to put on the Weber grill cover to keep the snow off it during winter, and it is a snap to put up the leaf to hold your food plate. The grill came with a quick disconnect fitting and hose for natural gas, has super easy removable drip pans for cleaning and catching grease, and cooks evenly with very little flare ups. Perfect grill for cooking for 2-4 people. All with Weber quality- starts first click with the ignitor, heavy grates, and replaceable parts. Arrived well packed from the Depot, easy to assemble with average mechanical ability- this was a great purchase. Thanks Home Depot and Weber!

We opted to have the grill delivered to our home. Sending it to Home Depot would mean picking it up there and if we had the store assemble it - it wouldn't fit in our vehicle. Best decision ever. The assembly was quite easy. The directions were well done as pictograms. Total assembly time was two hours. For your gas hook-up note the grill has a quick release valve on the end of the gas line. However, there are two additional items you will need are: a brass step down valve from 1/2" to 3/8" and some Pipe Thread Compound. Use it and you will never have a gas leak. NOTE: When tightening down the brass parts DO NOT over torque them with your wrench. You might snap them off. Snug will do. We also got the cover - highly recommended and a wired brush to clean the grill. When you finish grilling clean it while the grates are hot with the brush rather than waiting until you use it the next time and clean them then as the manual suggests. Ours heats right up to above 550 quickly and maintains an even temperature. We truly love this grill and the fact that we can use it year around and never have to worry about running out of gas(i.e. propane) nor have to lug around any tanks!!!

  • Stainless steel is either stained or rusting
  • August 21, 2013

The grill cooks well, but the stainless steel has either stained or rusted. It doesn't clean off with typical cleaning products. If Weber can't offer a fix then the premium price for stainless steel is not justified.

Good grill as discribed. Easy to assemble, hook up to outside NG connection, and grill. Temperature indicator helpful. Just gilled 6 small steaks, 2 pork chops, and 2 chicken breasts on it.

Not as small as it looks! Easily can cook 12+ burgers on it. However, I did give it 5 stars despite the fact the grates that you grill on are spaced far apart and when flipping burgers, I always manage to have a few slide down between the grates and lose them. (cook more than planning for now, just in case I lose a few). the grill gets hot quickly, and does a nice and even cooking job. Nothing sticks to the grates either. I love this grill and am very pleased with it.
