Was an easy panel to install but I don’t like how the termination of the wire are located. If this panel will be installed life will might be difficult. But another than that I like it

great panel with lots of room for new AFCI breakers,also has a main breaker included.

The panel was replacement upgrade for the location. It was smoothly fixed into the wall effortless……. Inner depth allowed for owner to feel comfortable with electrical usage. Easy write number List.

Bouth this to replace a 20 space/40 circuit panel in an older home i bought last year. The panel only had one space left and was mostly filled with tandem breakers. It was time for an upgrade. My electrical back ground is non existant other than running a couple outlets in the house. But im willing to try just about any project. I was worried about the panel not having a ground bar like others had mentioned initially. However, after talking to the homedepot electronics guy, realized i didn't need it. I have another 200amp breaker at the pole outside. its grounded there and i have 3 wires comming into my house into my 200amp indoor panel. Two hot and one neutral. So all of the grounds and neutral wires from the breakers go on the same bar. Granted my old box was wired like this, i just wanted to make sure no corners were cut. I found that this box had a much better layout than the one i replaced, really easy to work in. The only negative i would have to say, is that the 1/2" knockouts in the top seem too close together when working with the wire clamp fittings. But with a little finess, i was able to make it work. Total time was 8 hours start to finish (not including the 35 min one way trip back to homedepot for the stuff i forgot...fail). Im sure someone who knows what they are doing can do it faster and prettier, but thought it looked good for a rookie.

Panel lock outs were hard as heck to knock out. Had to drill them and buy a knockout punch. Defeated the pourpose. And that was with each panel as I bought 2! I had to pound out the holes and it bend the panel. Then I had to drill holes next to each of the pre cut/solid metal in order to knock them out with a step bit. I saved -$54 per panel as I had to go buy a knockout kit and several unibits and drill bits. My video won’t post

Swapped out a fuse panel for the breaker, insurance requireded it, or pay $350 more per year. Four hours and about $110 in cost, less than 1 year payback.

All in all everything went fine with the installation and usage. Only comment is that the deadfront mounting screw holes were not tapped, and it took a little playing around to insert the breakers.

Cannot believe the ground terminal strip is not included. Had to return to purchase one later... :-(

This circuit breaker box worked wonderfully to replace a fuse box in an old house. Everything lit up once it was installed.

The panel box was just what I was looking for, worked great.

I am already thinking about getting a new panel. I cannot have had a worse experience.

Install was very straightforward. Lost one star due to breakers being difficult to snap into place, and they tend to open under less than the stated load. Maybe the breakers need to break in? It’s a bit annoying to have the toast half toasted due to a popped breaker when the omelet is done…….
