Electrician installed in my electrical panel to absolutely prevent main and generator switches from being activated simultaneously. Works perfectly.

Product fits as it is supposed to, directions which are enclosed and template for drilling are excellent.

A safe and inexpensive alternative to installing a manual transfer switch for portable generators to prevent potentially dangerous back feed to the Utility's Electrical Distribution System. It took me about 1 hr to carefully install the manual lockout. Supplied drilling template and instructions were spot on. Operational instructions and decals were clear and concise. Also saved money purchasing from HD rather than local Electrical supply although I ordered from them first and never received a call for pickup. Since I worked on live conductors for a Utility Company splicing up 750 MCM live, I felt comfortable working live but with caution. I don't recommend the same for the everyday DYI person. Personal Protective Equipment ( PPE ) is a must.

Ordered online, 1st shipment contained the wrong part. reordered part, this time it was missing a a shoulder screw. which i found at a local hardware store. almost 3 weeks in i was able to complete the install. the only reason I would recommend this product is because it's the only one that is approved by the manufacturer. I've been a long time user of square D products but lately their products are subpar. I WILL NOT BE USING SQUARE D GOING FORWARD.... Supply chain, QC is treble.

Have used ones that were 3 times the price that weren't as easy to install

Installation was straightforward and uneventful. The only issue is that the sliding interlock attaches to a portion of the cover which has a curve such that tightening all 3 screws completely causes some binding. Not really an issue, but a bit of an annoyance.

Easy to install, the metal template worked great. It works great and keeps the main breaker off while the generator breaker is on and back again.

Missing some parts, package did not contain the notification stickers to be installed on the breaker Box.

Easy to install and to use

Does what it's supposed to. Overpriced for what it is, but I needed something my wife could do without me. Idiot proof without the full transfer switch cost.

It was the only one that fit my Squar D homeline load Center 100Amp Box.
