Looks Fine, Cast from Pot Metal
These look exactly like the product image in person– nice even painted finish. The single hole mount makes installation easy, you can just move it to whatever angle you are going for, though angling the arm does look a bit silly. As soon you pick this up, you will notice it is stunningly light. It is cast from "white metal," I have no idea what the design load limit is here but oh boy, I would not want to shock-load one of these things as you start heading downstairs in an uncontrolled manner.

Hi Jon, our Handrail Brackets are made from a metal alloy that pass all strength standards for residental construction. When installed according to building code, you should achieve a lifetime of use from our handrail brackets.
