I bought these to fit into a specific closet. The specifications clearly state that the overall width is 35.5 inches but they measure at 35.75 inches. That extra quarter inch makes a difference… Just can’t get it to fit.

These shelves were added to the 4 shelf unit and they worked out great

I bought this shelf based on its 35.5" wide specification. It is not 35.5" but 35.75" and the difference mattered for my use. I returned the shelf no problem, but wanted to call out the difference. There are many options for 36" shelves but my application (inside a closet) is limited to 35.5 so I was excited to see this listed. I was really disappointed that the actual dimension is 35.75". Rather than chisel out drywall for a fit, my search goes on.
